Who else is race changing?

i'm going to wait for male viera before i fanta again

Changing an alt.

I recently switched to male Highlander and I love it...but I'm actually kinda torn regarding Viera and Hrothgar. They both have their pros and cons, though I would say that there's way more pros. I'd probably have to see what they both look like in various armor sets before making up my mind.

My miqo girl is going to be a Viera. I can't wait to be a cool amazon bunny woman.

I promised myself from launch of 2.0 that I would change races if they ever put in a proper beast race. That time is now, so I'll be hanging up my Roe and going Gar. It helps that a lot of their emotes remind me a bit of Charr from GW2, bestial, expressive, and fun.

I made a viera that I like, but I’m not going to Fantasia my main for sure. I like being a miqote too much. I have two alts though, the aura that’s my forum character and a lalafell, so I’m mulling over fantasiaing one of them/deciding which one of them I’d want to change.

Switching to Hrothgar day 1, have always wanted to be Hrothgar since the leaks in December.

changeing to viera day 1 and will stay viera till the end.

Switching to Viera, myself. I have my look at all set.

One of my alt characters but my main will always be miqote.

It's tempting, but I've grown too attached to this character's look, so I'll keep her as is.

An alt, though, especially if NG+ has changes and can be played on a fresh toon, is something I'd gladly play.

I'll be swapping to Viera, they just look too good :)

If it's not a male miqo'te then i'm not really interested. Human like cat people are on my top two favorite fantasy races. Them and elves, but the elezen are kind of ugly.

I'd race change if the tail wouldn't be sticking out of outfits for Hrothgar. They REALLY need an option that lets people toggle if the tail is showing or not, since it ruins certain glamours

Been au ra since Heavensward and I'm attached to her but I'm kind of tired of dealing with the horns so I'm gonna have to fight the urge not to switch back :[

Gonna be a thick eyebrow viera.

I've been very attached to my Au'ra, but Viera are just too cool to pass up. I originally wanted to be an Elezan but the proportions on the females felt so odd looking to me that I couldn't do it. Viera are tall and slim but not in a weird way like FemElezan are.

Waiting to see people complain because they won't be able to fanta due to server congestion

I wonder if that new Mog Station hat is going to appear on Hrothgar.

I have to admit after the rush of female viera, and the benchmark I was 100% sure I wanted to switch. I still do intend on doing so, but I have been wavering a bit. I do like Au Ra, I remember doing story/cutscenes with au ra, and even with their clipping they can still wear any headgear at the players discretion, and have access to all hairstyles. I am less convinced now, while Viera are very pretty, that I wouldn't just fantasia back to an Au Ra like I always have.

I'm changing 4/7 alts into Viera. Only question is if I will do x4 Rava or x2 Veena/x2 Rava... really liking grey skin Veena...

Even though I am extremely disappointed with the Viera emotes, I have already bought a fantasia for one of my other characters that is currently a BRD/MCH...

So I'll be race changing my Elezen to a Viera... or... something else and then one of my other characters to a Viera...

- That will likely end up depending on how much those emotes bother me once I can try them myself.

I made her my wallpaper on my PC and phone too xD and yeah, Im gonna change my main too, I waited 4 years now for Viera.

I'll change an alt into a fem viera, and when male Viera and lion mommy are released, I'll change my main into a male Viera and change an alt (or even my main if they're strong) into lion mommy

I'll be sticking to my current race on my main here. Alts might be fair game but that might also require me to actually play them more.

playing viera just for monk and ninja, with all the back flipping and side spinning, i think viera is suitable for that class

I honestly never thought I would change into something less bestial but after going through the benchmark I fell a bit in love with the female Vieras. They are large without having the problems like Elezen do and without being so muscled like the Roes. They are also beautiful but I can at the same time give them my resting bitch face. :'D And looking at some of the videos from the media tour they have great emotes..something which I never liked about the Xaela Au Ra females..them being much more mature in the emotes also sold me. So yeah there might be a big chance for me to switch race but I will still try it out on my alt first to get a feeling. (And because I dont want to throw away money for misused fantasia)

Being an Au Ra since 3.0, it's feels like a hard choice to change.. but since I'm a Fantasia and Glamour addict, I'll will be jumping back and forth each month (less than that if the addiction kicks in too high).

I didn't know where to post this, but if anyone was wondering, we are not getting a free Fantasia with the expac, like it was with Heavensward. A community manager confirmed it on the French side of the forum.

Oh well, still changing to Viera anyway ;)

I have 3 fantasias left since the HW launch. Which means I can change to viera, and if I hate it go right back to Au Ra.

I've made 16 Viera so far on my Benchmark, so I'm heavily considering it.

My only hesitation is that every time I Fantasia, I always end up coming back to Lala.

The last time I attempted to race-change my kitty, she was an Au Ra for all of 2 minutes before I bought another fanta just to revert it ,_,

Then I made an alt. My time sunk into the game has doubled since then @.@

Viera are kinda cute and their faces seem to be higher-poly than the old races, so I'm tempted to make another alt... But on the other hand, I saw an overview of their emotes from the Media Tour and... mhm... ehh... They're a bit too subdued for my taste and, even worse, their ears don't seem to animate. They're just stiffly sitting on their head. It seems that in order to give them selectable ear variants, they couldn't rig them to the same bouncy bones that Gold Saucer bunny ears and the Carbuncle ears use. Or perhaps the emotes just... don't do anything with them by design. Either way, I definitely count that as a negative. I was hoping for ear-bounce.

On top of that, their hairstyle selection is very limited, and in the Benchmark they don't even seem to have access to all the shared hairstyles all other races can wear. While the few hairstyles they do have access to are amazing, especially the long voluminous ones <3, I'm still a bit afraid that if I make a Viera, the limited number of options will eventually bore me or I won't be able to put together a particular look. Maybe they'll add more hair/make some of the shared ones compatible further down the line? But as it is, their customisation seems to be poorer than the existing races'.

If their ears didn't look fake, I would consider it, but as it is if I want to look like a tall race with fake ears, I would transmog an Elezen with a bunny outfit from the Saucer.

They are so beautiful they have good run animation not arm flinging or stick up bottom. I don't usually like overly tall characters but they are not so bad and they look more mature and I like that. They have gorgeous hair even if limited I like the ones they have so I will probably change. Oh and they have fab figures.

was originally planning to swap to Viera, including name change etc, but decided to stay Lalafel, until we get male Viera

Can't wait for male Roegadyn to become extinct when they all change to Hrothgar :p

I won't change my main mostly because I've been a Roe from the beginning and partially because I've no intentions of spending money on Fantasia. My alt has 2 free ones though so I'll definitely change him to a Hrothgar.
