Cutter's Cry. We will post our video in a few hours. Speed run via our method is very, very plausible. Didn't watch Doc Mogs (refused to, wanted to enjoy the battle) so our strategy is very different apparently.

Hahaha. I got horribly killed by ants. >.<

ive joined a couple jp pick up groups for this raid so far, and they all seem to have 2 ways about going about this princess.
its either 2 blm's target queen and both firaga when the mob of ants comes, or they have the 2 blm's sleep all the ants and let the 2nd war steel cyclone them. also one of the groups was moving the queen back and forth to avoid the guard curing.

anyone else have something different they have done, just curious how many different ways there are to clearing this.
i personally like the firaga version and not moving the queen.

Once we go back in and do a Cutter's Cry run I'll tape our ant. It's a bit different than both of those.

We tried backing our tanks into a corner (where you first start) one took queen and other took the other big ant and kept all the DD in there as well and the White Mage. We then tried luring the ants into that area so that the Black Mage was waiting to sleep the minions as they almost came in funneling them and keeping sleep on them also giving room for the DD to use area attacks. We managed pretty good but we lost about half way through as I was the only Black Mage and there were just too many ants I think if we had another Black Mage and White Mage it could work.

you can use the tunnel worms in your advantage

The tunnel worm's Sand Spire hits the chimera for 2500 points of damage.

the puff's in the floor.

chimera droped 3 things this round,
mages chausses, darklight flachard, aubriest's allegory

those flanchard are leg+feet 1 peice. fitting leg slot cant equip feet.

thats why they so higher in stats

dumb thought, so possition the princess above a sand blast also, and basically the heals are kinda negated..... can someone confirm? since it worked for chimera.

Doesn't work on Ant. DD>BLM.

I was able to get my WAR AF in CUTTER'S CRY and some of our BRDs got theirs as well.

I realize something is strange about these AF quests. We went to DH to get the WHM AF but failed finding it. On our first run, our MNK found the chest but the WHM wasn't able to get there on time (we wiped so all of us had to run from the entrance, the MNK survived)... then all of a sudden the chest would just disappeared, took us a long time looking for it, then we all gave up. I think the AF is a random pop, not sure.

That's my 2¢

Cutters Cry has to be done a certain way when the two seperated groups get together alot of people don't know to kill the Sentry Ants last. When we got our gear and figured that out after reading about it we still had to go back and reset the room where both parties come back together and redo it but the next time we got our gear.

Not random pop. DH AF Chest depops if you kill the mobs in the "win" room, after Ogre.

Cutters AF is only accessed by time killing Ant on first floor, then sentry's on the next 2 floors.

Kill ant in last on all the room you'll get to AF chamber.

First room Kill Ant in last
Second room, kill giant Ant in last
Third room, kill giant Ant in last.

AF is over the next map.

Able to find the person who got darklight and show us what it looks like :D?

1st Chest: Kill Chimera
2nd Chest: Not failing at sync kill on Ants
3rd Chest: Cacutar
4th Chest: Speed Run <25min
5th Chest: Collect all Chests

Is that 6th chest in the same area as the Princess chest?

What path are you using getting the Chest in the 2 rooms before ant boss ?

AF Route works. It's the only route I know. How do you go the 'other' route?

Kill bat in last instead of ant, there's another chest in the other room before Ant boss. (Maybe they share the same)
bat > bat > peiste or ant

Or maybe it's the chest you think it is after have defeated Marshall after princess, where did you found this chest ?
