Does anyone else think they should age up the fem miqote/au ra character models?

Everyone looks at them as characters in game.

Not sure if the player who brought this topic did it because there was a previous discussion where players asked to match male Viera appearance on age with the adult female Viera appearance based on Fran design because the lore state they multiply, but if that was the cause there isn't even the need here because Miqo-te are really similar in fact so similar that when see male Miqo-te in dress can't distinguish character gender.

Male miqote are my weakness okay, I admit it. Especially if they have pink hair. They are totally 18+ though. Some people just look young okay.

@ Op I think this is more your problem for coming to these conclusions, than the people who play as Au'Ra and Miqo'te. Lalafel players must really worry you.

The game does sexualize Miqo'te and a few others sometimes, and players seem to like it.


But they are presented as of age, and up to acceptable standards in Eorzea.

Not sure if youre just a troll, or a person whos been so sheltered you think that anything outside your narrow scope of acceptability is somehow some deviant behavior. How about this: You dont like things like this in the game, dont play it. Best way to demonstrate you dont approve of design decisions is to stop paying for them. For the rest of the player base, theyll play characters they like, for whatever reason they want ,and that should be no ones business so long as everything is above board. Like seriously, I dont understand why people make it there business what other people do in a fantasy game as long as its legal. And if its illegal, then that is an SE issue that they need to address, not the player base. It is broadly not the responsibility of the player base to police the morality of our fellow players, unless we notice clearly illegal activity taking place. All this thread and the OP comes across as is weird moralizing and being a busybody while, honestly, adding a context to character models that isnt there.

Get what you mean and totally agree with you.

The only thing that should be "aged up" is that weird boyish elezen face that makes the head way too small for his body.

Other than that, I seem to be age blind, as Miqo'te and Au Ra don't look any younger to me compared to other races.

The only thing that needs to be aged up is the OP.

For what it's worth, I do wish that there were options to make older-looking characters in this game. Back when I was first making my Retainers, I decided to make one of them look like an older, retired version of my Final Fantasy XI character (a Mithra). The best I could manage, really, was to put white streaks in her hair...

Well thanks to the OP and this useless thread am going to go back to WoW just to something shire to rainbow puke some ERP webs a bit more and release a few more complains.
