The new Outfit

"Wait why does the inside of the cloak stays red ?!"
"They did it again...inside of the cloak clashes with 95% of the dyes. :'( "

I don't understand why the mask can't be toggled off.

It could be a good utility piece, but instead it has a very limited usefulness.

I really like it, but I'm also deliberately going for a dark and spooky vibe haha. I am going to try and take pictures of how it looks dyed a few different ways just to see if there are means to mitigate the edginess for those who want other options, along with some close ups. Definitely laughing though that narrative-wise Tataru came out with this.

It’s great, except for the lack of a visor option, the face of the hood is meh, replaced that item with something else.

I was really hoping we'd finally get the Kugane Kimono (the one Tataru was wearing for most of the expansion) at the end of Stormblood, but looks like that's not happening. Or at least not happening for a few years until they put it in the Gold Saucer... maybe. Sigh.

Jet Black dye for that extra edgy, close ups on the mask and full body as well as without the mask. Still working on other dye option pics, the ones I tried so far weren't exactly where I was aiming but I do think there are ways to tone things down well.

Boots: Hell Yas. Coat: Strong Mebbe. Pantsu: (if its more leather pants) Strong Mebbe. Gloves: Nope. Hat: Probably Nope. I'll see how it mixes with the demonic set. But the boots alone are worth it

Didn't quite match the leather color on the blue and lost patience trying to figure it out, but the inner liner of the cape is rolanberry and against white (pure or snow) the leather bits are slate gray dye. Part of the issue is that for certain colors (especially lighter or less saturated ones) there's a grayish tint that can wash the whole thing out. Other issue is that the red liner does not dye, so basically it becomes a question of "can it go with red" with any dye option picked. I think some greens and teals might be workable since green is complementary, and going without the mask can offer much more range imo. All this is just for the complete set though, mix and match glamour think there's way more wiggle room.

Tataru sure went in an experimental phase with her grief of not being able to do anyything and thinking we bit the big one with all the black leather, zippers (on the pants, gloves and body) and the belts. I wonder if they allowed you know who to design this if not then a fan of them.

It is rare that I see an outfit and can barely contain myself with excitement. This was the case with the Scion Traveler gear. Seriously, it's amazing.

Oh, I absolutely adore the gear. Glam'd it all over my DRK and broke out the Cronus for it.

Not a fan of the hood, but it's nothing Anemos Hat can't fix.

I was looking for a good matching hat.

I kinda liked the chest piece (not fussed either way on the rest of the kit), and it dyed nicely with my usual (royal) blue stuff. However, it ended up with a bit too much hair clippage and once seen, it could not be unseen. That made me sad enough to not use it.

Not a fan of the weird porcelain mask on the headgear, and my long hair clips pretty badly with the body, same with the cape and tail, but what else is new for miqos? Otherwise I like it. Probably won't have any use for it, but it's nice to have.

I think its a nice outfit but I won't wear it since there is a lot better-looking gear and my new namazu head is top spot on my lala.

Haven't gotten into the game to try it on for myself yet.... but from the looks of it, this is exactly the kind of ninja/rogue hood I've been hoping to see in the game for years! I've been wanting to look like a more classic western-style thief/assassin, and this looks like at least the right kind of hood for this.

Already a +1 on this outfit from me.

I'm liking it, especially the chest piece. Plays nice with dye. Toss on some heavier boots and gauntlets for a more tanky look and it's pretty much exactly what I've been wanting for my edgy DRK boy.

Head - Leather eyepatch (soot black)
Chest - Scion traveler's jacket (soot black)
Hands - Strife Gloves (No dye used)
Legs - Leonhart Bottoms (soot black)
Feet - Scion traveler's boots (soot black)

I like the chest piece, gloves and boots alot, especially the Cape part.

However, I am not a fan of the hood, or the face part on the front. Shame the visor option isn't considered on alot of head gear to remove face masks like this..

I love it, mainly because I can't help but see our now Warrior of Darkness strutting in this new shard scaring the hell out of its denizens with it.

Love the helmet too. It might not be my particular fashion, but I love that it makes you look the part of one who will sow the seeds of darkness and all that.

I mean her firends were out of action and I she thought we were dead.

This set has made me forgive her. I'm not overly found of the edgy style but it's miles better than the schoolgirl uniform we got in Heavensward. Gosh that was a nightmare.
