In the past 2 days, only in party finders, i might of seen 10 FCs recruiting for RP. So either you didn't bother to look at all or didn't bother to ask around.

We also have a thriving event scene and several dedicated websites for RP. Namely the RPC and Balmungrpcalendar over on tumblr for something more substantive than dropping into the quick sand. If you sit in any major city you'd constantly get tells for RP communities as well, so I don't know what was happening to miss all of that?

I've never even heard anyone on my server complain about a log-in queue. Most if us are just afk standing around fashionably hoping for something exciting to happen and would much rather have new players and meet new friends.

15k+ active players, you have met less then 1% think about that. If you spent less time waiting for new people to introduce themselves to you and more time introducing yourself too others you dont recognize, you would discover a endless supply of new faces is already present.

On a locked server, it tends to get to the point where people are where they want to be. Solo players stay solo, those looking for a FC are normally in one. Noobs to help are few as we get no fresh blood. It's just stale.

We obviously don't all know each other, but new players add a freshness to the place that is needed. Perhaps it's hard to fully understand if you're not on a locked server.

Dont need to be on the locked server for things to go stale. Lamia is far from fresh with life and its not even locked, any server locked or otherwise can get stale. I really hope Balmung is losing more players then gaining so the server can stablize and stop being locked. Its pretty much a given threads like this are going to popup whenever Balmung is locked or unlocked.

Should have specified this was about 4-6 months ago.

I blacklist 3-4 RMT shouters per day. But Balmung badly needs a steady influx of new players, especially because the RP ecosystem needs upstarts and firebrands in order to thrive. Only new blood can really offset the entrenched cliquishness that naturally comes from a server being closed for a long time.
