I am 23 and FFVII is one of my least favorites, despite it being a great game. I don't understand how FFVII fans hinder my FFXIV experience.

I go where the server majority go, been with Trabia since CB(when it was Kefka or whatever) and don't plan on leaving anytime soon.

So far, server5 is the most popular one, followed by 1, 4 (surprised about that one) and 7.

(The 4-column table is the server list with number of votes btw)

If there were a World 11, would it be wrong to ask Japanese players to go there?

Apparently Wutai is going for server 7 too..

You do realize EVERY server is thinking like this. It's not the game, or the type of people, it's the popularity - VII is so popular that world 7's going to fill up almost immediately, I'd just about guarantee it. 1 most likely will too, just because it's the first in the list. I don't see why Trabia wouldn't just agree on 8 since it's already the server named from VIII.

I say stick with 7 for now, keep monitoring other servers plans

i vaguely remember wutai having some drama llama earlier in the game's existence. if and when it gets revived, i have my popcorn ready.

That would make sense, however, Besaid is currently going to server 8. Which is a highly populated server afaik, so we'd get capacity problems.

I don't know of any other drama llama from Wutai but I don't really know many people from there.

And people are saying they don't want to be with the RPers so why go for 8? (since Besaid is going there and is the unofficial RP server)

Actually, the RP community is planning to move to server 9, according to this poll

I've already seen that. I'm more referring to the fact that Besaid is going to 8 and they're known as the "unofficial RP server"

Just select your World on day 1 and you shouldn't have to worry about capacity problems. Having at least two servers going to the same World is a good thing for population.

Pretty sure Wutai was one of the lower population servers from the pop checks anyways.

i lurked their server forum before and said drama was from a year ago. maybe the players involved don't play anymore. to be honest, their drama was pretty tame compared to our server's fair share of ls battles. heehee! :P

tbh, I'd like it if it was NewServer = Trabia + Wutai, but nevermind :/

I'm sure they'res some more EU on wutai to boost our numbers.

As far as the drama-rama in Wutai is conserned, the biggest jerks have either left or mellowed out. Yes Pere was one of the biggest instigators and I think my Mac truck prayers have been answered :)
