according to reddit user tormentedragon, yoshida has yet to unveil a new harder version of current content w/e that means. but after that I know nothing else, which is why no new ultimate for 4.5 is problematic and since as you say there's the possibility of an expac release in late 2019 I'm worried just as you.

I mean we have many hints that they should make a 4.6 patch.
The fact that we should close the 3 lords questline in 3 trials and the palace at the center of eureka, but it seems yoshida squashed those hopes on E3

I always wonder, with threads like these, how much people play per day. I have been playing for a few years total now, and I still dont have every class to 70, still dont have every sidequest and thing done, still have plenty of stuff to do. And I play a few hours a day usually.


If youre burning up all the content in short work, you may want to actually consider how youre playing or even why? Is it just so "Finish things up" or is it to actually enjoy the content. How many people who complain about not enough content just mash their mouse button during dialogue and dont read any of it, or skip every single cutscene. How many people just power lvl to cap, ignoring everything along the way, only to get to 70, gear up, and hten move to an new class and rinse and repeat? Hell, how many people when an xpac comes out just power lvls to the newest lvl cap in the same day?

Like seriously, this game has a ton of stuff in it, yet people are like "Oh I completed all that, Im bored! This sux!", where Im sitting here thinking "Shoot, I can do this, or that, or that, or this."

So yeah, if you dont think theres that much content, maybe its how your playing the game. If a restaurant makes you a gourmet 5 course meal, and you wolf it down in 3 seconds, complaining about it by going "God, theres nothing here for me to eat and the food is all bland and pointless" comes off as stupid to me.

Keep in mind that there may also be other collaborations to come -- they pretty much sprang the Monster Hunter one on us all of a sudden...who's to say there won't be others?

Some of us have been playing since beta, and there isn’t as much to do now. Also keep in mind that no everyone wants to play every single job or do every single side quest. Lastly we shouldn’t have to “slow down, or pace” our play time just so we can make every last longer if we don’t choose to. We pay the same price for our subscription we ALL should get equal types of content that satisfy each type of player, casual, midcore, hardcore.

While it would be good to get enough content for everyone in the same quantity, it needs to be recognized that it isn't really possible.

And speaking frankly, the not liking to play other jobs and all that is on the player not on the game, which btw has the selling point the fact that you can have all jobs on a single character.
