My thoughts exactly. This is the updo I've been clamoring for, and now that it is here I am not sure how well it will work with my glams :( I really wish we could set a hairstyle to a glamour plate. Ohhhh the possibilities!

Anywho, I am currently at the mercy of the MB since I don't meet the requirements to run the content so it will be some time before I have to cross that bridge. I also want to see how many players are using it. If it is too trendy, then I may pass for the time being. Hopefully more voluminous updos are headed our way!

Has anyone gotten this from gold bags or only silver?

Something I would like to know is does this hairstyle pass the "WHM AF3 gear clipping" test?

I caved in and bought it, rng was not on my side. Since I don't have any jobs to level and I don't need the weapons (no point with eureka part 2 around the corner) I just couldn't grind hoh anymore (I did my time in potd). Ill have more fun crafting and gathering earning the gill back I think.

It should, but that set was almost deliberately stating to not use long hair with that body piece.

Looks good with most glamour I have but some head pieces have some clipping I can't stand.

After farming all night for it, best friend gave up and just bought it for me c.c I suppose on a high note though, did get some of the crafting mats to make the odder lamp and bench from framing HoH for the hairstyle/working upwards on levels. :D

It could be Photoshopped for all anyone knows. IIRC, in order for an account to be perma-banned, they need the person specifically stating that they're using mods, or live proof (like a stream, maybe a video).

Honestly don't know what your talking about. Hear of amazing graphics and photoshop? does wonders to make a game look 100x better :)
(and yes, all sarcasm aside... I do use photoshop and reshade so they wanna perma-ban me for editing my images, just goes to show how low SE can really get :eek: but screen shot changed to avoid confusion.)

I had to farm HoH for 3 days to get mine, but WORTH IT :D You're right, it looks good on whoever wears it :D

Why is the silver sack pool so massive D: I got one of every primals boarding so far AND a bunch of minions but all I want is the hair ;^; (and yes I am complaining Becuse I had all those already lol)

I'm probably biased, but I think it looks best on lalas. ;)

It dropped for me patch day, first floor 30 clear, first sack. (Only 2 posted and sold on MB at that time on my server)

I found a glamour that fit it well. The next day I saw too many players rocking that 'do so I reverted back to my previous look. I wore it for a full 24. I'll give it half a year till I wear it again.

I've leveled NIN from 61 to 65, gotten +95 aetherpool and looted 15 Potsherds so far without seeing the hair. I wonder how many runs it takes on average.

I'm at 99/99 and ended up buying mine off the MB because it wouldn't drop. I even thought I was going to get it once (there are varying levels of flashing when you're opening sacks) and it ended up being some worthless lumber.

I was hoping to get one to sell to try and recoup some of the cost, but nope just multiples of boarding, minions and an endless supply of fireworks and confetti.

I'm on 26 bags now, no luck so far. Gotten 4 minions I didn't have though so not all bad. The grind continues!

I have planned to run 8 rounds per week(so 8 potshred per week)
And I hope I can get the hairstyle by the time my potshreds reach 30.
But if it still refuses to drop then I'm just gonna buy it from MB.
The price will drop drastically in 1 month anyway.
I can wait and I know I can get it eventually.
I'm already pretty without the hairstyle already :p

Samsonian locks are just barely under a mil on my server (800k at time I checked, and 500k being the lowest in available history). I am not sure how much it was at the height of its popularity after release, but that's pretty steep considering how long its been around and how much PoTD is ran. Quantity available is also higher than the demand. On my server at least, the price of the new hairstyle won't be dropping anytime soon, and will very likely remain above 1 million for quite some time. It's currently selling at a steady rate of 2.5 mil.

It may have very well been that low at one point. I've never been interested in that hairstyle myself, but I was curious when I was checking the price of the new locks. There is no shortage of either one of them as well, so both PoTD and HoH are being run constantly. I haven't seen anyone yet wearing the updo, but I am sure I will see plenty tonight at jumbo Cactpot, where everyone goes to show off a new look :p

It was similarly cheap on my server until HoH released. I think what happened is people saw the new hairstyle on the marketboard and noticed there was another for sale, so people snatched that up which drove up the price.

I really like the fact that this hairstyle helps to hide the derpy eye on my Au Ra (face 1). I never liked looking at her face straight on, but the hair helps tremendously. Also, looks super cute in hats!

I just wish I could remove the braid from the forehead :(
