Heres an idea I had last night, figure I'd share it and see what everyone else thinks.

During future seasonal events, I think it would be cool if SE added seasonal event rewards that are costumes for our chocobos. For example, next Christmas seasonal event would reward us with a reindeer costume for our chocobos. What do you guys think?

Yeah I agree, Ariman (along with any other flying monster) would just look completely silly, I hope they don't make that into a mount... lol

These are all awesome, Although i wouldn't want the Ahriman, or anything that flies for that matter as a mount.

Yeah I agree, in fact I wouldn't actually want the last 3 mounts (Ahriman, Ascian [the grim reaper], and chimera), I only posted those for fun. :)
I really don't want a flying mount, thats just stupid, I hope SE doesn't add one...

What is with people wanting to mount everything they see? :D Personally I think the idea of characters riding around on monsters is silly when they already have an established and dependable creature for that. (Chocobo) It doesn't make sense really.

Job specific mounts might be neat though, as long as it fits. Imagining a wyvern mount for dragoon gets me excited.

The lighting is the perfect, the plants are clipping through the Coeurl and there is no sign of any anti-aliasing on anything in there (which would help mask cut and pasted images).

Unless this was painted pixel by pixel, it was captured via the game engine's renderer (with AA and shadows turned off)

Not that I have a problem with it. Just an fyi. ;)


EDIT: On second thought, this is some awesome pixel art!

A4: Unfortunately, we currently do not have plans for the Magitek armor to be usable in battle. However, we may treat this particular mount in a special way. Currently there in only one coeurl in game, the Lone Coeurl NM found in Shposhae. If you haven't seen it for yourself, you need to head down to the bottom level, kill all the wold mobs in the big cavern, then head into the little room to the side to get to him.

I think it would make a wonderfull mount! The are strong, beautiful and above all .. FIERRRRRRRCE. And as mentioned below, you can use their whiskers to steer.

Even Rukkirii has bowed to the awesomeness that is the Coeurl. My signature has inspired such a longing in her that she now bears the proud feline's likeness with her, wherever she goes.

I just hope that Coeurl's lightning tentacles/whiskers don't sting me in my rear while riding it >_> I wish I could just grab and tie them into a pretty bow above his head :3

you can grab them and use them as reins

i dont care much about mounts unless you can use them in battles like our chocobo

I miss making my white lion, in TERA, ROAR when holding down a button :/ I'd ask for that feature... but last thing I want to hear is a goobue fart noise or ten trillion KWEHs or WARKs

I don't understand all this talk about NM mounts.
It's clear the mount that people want the most is their own person lala mount to run around on. Imagine jumpin on one of those! *Dong* ........ *splat*
