Eh...might as well add to this thread. Unsubbed for a second time in as many months, so I guess this could count? Nothing fancy as issues with the game itself or anything of the like. I'm just far too empathetic and it can really wreck with my mind quite a bit. Lost some respect recently and for the entire year I've been here, I seem to have pissed off a huge boatload of others...so decided to just stop playing once my sub is up for good this time. Maybe it's a silly reason, but hey, everybody is different, what can ya say. Been fun, Eorzea.

When I am not playing the game, it's usually a mixture of not having the extra funds to spend on a subscription, and being burnt out/bored.

Does Loot RNG locking you into doing Lighthouse only count as "Not playing"?

Normally with a new patch I will going full force for new gear for my gathering classes/MNK/DRG, enjoying main story and beasttribes.
But like most people I also get the feeling it's kinda useless doing it and the same thing over and over for already 4-5 years is getting boring. Less friendly community over the years also doesnt help.
For my feeling they also make alot of bad moves:
- Spreading content instead of 1 big and 1 small patch
- Heavenly push Mogstation ( I blame some whales on the forum for this )
- Incoming money grab app.

Seeing the latest event rewards, again, having no new outfits or hairstyles, makes me feel like all that stuff is being kept back for Mogstation only... I'm starting to feel myself that Square are going the way of companies like Perfect World, everything's locked behind a pay wall and targeted at people with deep pockets, and on top of a sub too.. that's one of the things I used to love about this game/company to start with, that I didn't feel like they where taking the biscuit out of their customers. I was impressed with the cost of their mogstation items and it didn't feel like they were charging silly prices... I don't feel that's the case anymore :/ Hence why I'm leaning towards not playing at all now, instead of just logging on to do a bit of crafting and dailies a few times a week.
