New mounts you would like to see

I'd like to have a 4th Garo mount. We have 4 Makai Knight Armor sets in the game, but only 3 of their Mounts.

A new dragon mount, have not had any in a long time (I dont really consider the o4s mount one, it's a flying snake and not everyone can get it)
A different cat mount using same model of the hunt tiger
A second a hydra
Achievement mounts for healers

Just more animal mounts in general. I am not a big fan of the inneament objects as mounts.

I don't think people would like that unless the mount required a similarly tedious achievement to obtain.

But yeah. With so many existing models that would make good mounts, I wish they'd release old models as mounts more often rather then mostly releasing new ones.

We're probably getting at least four in the next patch; one from the new primal, at least one from the Namazu, at least one from Heaven-on-High, and at least one from Eureka Pagos boxes.

Why not just add wing mounts where when you activate those mounts... your character shows animated & colored wings with effects.
-Angel wings
-Demon wings
-Skeleton wings
-Dragon wings
-Bird wings
-Robot wings
-etc...

I want a larger version of the Genbu minion as a mount. Big ol' sea turtle.

Maybe on land you can ride him as surfboard and he magically creates water to glide on.
Flight would just be the same thing, but the surfboard on land would be dope.

Plus standing on his shell while on land and him flat on the ground is ideal.

Dew drop mount - show the character sitting on a dew drop and floating across the lands and skies :)

It would be nice to have one, just ONE, customizable motorcycle like this one. The chocobos have colors and bardings, this one could have stuff like saddlebags, wheels, stickers, etc.

I would like them to change the mount system in general, actually. After experiencing mounts in GW2, the mounts here are super lame and shallow. They're just a speed buff really, that allow you to fly. There aren't any mechanics with them, you can't make them better, they're just reskins of the chocobo mount, really. Every single one feels the same. I'd like to be able to level up my chocobo in a way that it has abilities when I'm riding it. If it's in a tank stance, I want it to be able to take more damage than usual. If it's in a healer stance, I want to be able to heal ourselves as we run. If it's in a DPS stance, I want to be able to slash at an enemy before going into combat, kinda like what the raptor mount does in GW2. Right now, the levelling system is just for the times when you summon your chocobo to fight alongside you, which is fine, but I would like more customization.

I want to ride on Raubahn's shoulders. Why does Nanamo get to have all the fun?

Nothing wrong with making a suggestion (I personally like them) but saying "They're just a speed buff really, that allow you to fly." it's like you don't even play the game. The company chocobo is one of the most customizable and useful mounts in any game. There are comparable and even better systems, but that statement is not true of this game.

Can you do anything but run fast or fly on it while mounted? I'm not talking about the companion mode, when the bird fights alongside you, that part I like, and even mentioned it. But that's not the mount system, that's the companion system. When you're on the mount, you can't do much with it but just... go. You can't fight your enemies with it, you can't heal your friends, nothing.

I think you're splitting hairs, and if they did incorporate mounted combat there would be less devision as then both in mount mode and companion mode they are part of the combat system. I'm all for mount combat and since there is no world pvp you don't have the problems that come with that.

Riding piggyback or being carried in some other fashion (fireman's carry, bridal carry) by our retainer.

I admit that the primary reason it'd never happen (roe with a lala retainer) is part of the reason I'd want it.

I'd be great if the mount Nightmare had music too when you ride it, some nightmarish music. And to make Nightmare fly/swim too. It's my favorite mount in the game but you cannot fly/swim with it which I find really sad, I can only ride it in 2.X in the main basic game and not at all in the expansions. And I find the lack of music pretty sad too. :(
