Don't know how much EXP Lamasthu or Amarok give but no1 is doing them
Not burned, but probably because I take it slow.
Still "only" level 19, I've just finished my first anemos set.
And I'm only doing it when I really want to.
I've gotten both the Relic weapons I can get at this point, so I'll probably just stock up on a handful of feathers and enough crystals to upgrade a few more after I've leveled some more jobs. Beyond that, it's fallen off my priority list for now. I will say it's at least been good for materia and making extra money, though I've pretty much given up on the prospect of the mount ever dropping in the lock boxes at this point.
I go just long enough to finish capping mendacity. Half the time I’m on Reddit or Twitter while aggro combo spamming mobs as a tank.
Last I checked you still get feathers from Pazuzu which actually gives merit to spawning and killing him. So yes, like they are daily. Take those feathers away and I cannot see a single reason for people to go through the effort of killing wraiths to spawn and then killing pazuzu outside of simple fun. The experience from it alone is not worth the time investment. Its why the train tends to avoid spawning Lamashtu and Amarok in favor of spawning other NMs, take away feathers and Pazuzu will be no different.
At the time of this post my entire instance is popping Lamashtu and next Amarok. Thank you for your time.

Please stop posting false information. People do them daily, and I see them killed nearly every other instance.
idk whoever thought this was a good form of filler content for us to do and not get burnt out doing it wasn't very bright... this is a lot.
It’s a fresh instance. Everyone entered at night, but if that’s your only argument, it’s a very weak one.
Here you go. Took about 10 minutes for wraiths and 15 for gales. Into farming for Lamashtu and now amarok.

People entered and immediately started on ALL 3 that you state are avoided. So there’s no way to lie when the lowest timer is barely an hour down.
I posted my proof and what you requested. Where’s your evidence? Or are you going to just continue saying nobody does them? Just a lucky instance yeah?
And Amarok now popped. Guess people do care enough to do him.

Still waiting on the timers for the NMs (at the time of spawning Lamashtu and Amarok). To see if anything you've posted actually contradicts what I've been saying. 64+ minutes into a "fresh" instance and people are immediately killing those 3 before any of the other available NMs. Okay.
I already proved what you keep saying is wrong. People do them. Weather RNG is a thing for Pazuzu, or are you one of those people who goes into Eureka lying and saying his respawn timer is 2+hrs in addition to gales being anywhere between 30-2hrs? I have given plenty of proof to contradict what you say, in the short amount of time I have been in there. You said people avoid them. They don’t.
Lamashtu spawned after what would have been a total of 40 minutes into the instance you can see all the time counting down in the few screens I’ve already given. With one group being in the instance for about 12 minutes longer than me, there would have been no time to “farm everything else”. . Wraiths take a good 10 minutes or more to farm out with two dedicated groups. Quit trying to distract from the original statement you laid out.
No, I'm one of those people who use a timer to track NM spawn timers and determine which NM to go for next.
The ONLY thing you done is prove that people kill them which doesn't contradict me stating that they tend to be avoided in favor of the more easily spawned NMs that are available. You are focusing on the word avoid and neglecting the word timer.
What I believe is that you’re likely one of the many who go in for an hour and then leave. But that’s irrelevant. I stand by everything I said, including that you are wrong. But hey, both those spawns must be fake right? There’s no WAY anyone would take time away from Sabo, Lord, and Emperor in favor of ACTUAL EXP.
And I love every moment of it! Seriously, this totally beats spamming roulette for having to deal with capping mendacity tomes. Not like I need the creation tomes when I can turn in anemos to upgrade the starter armor from 290 to 350. That and the weapon upgrade is pretty sweet.
I never made it passed lvl 7, I about died from boredom the third day.
3 relics and 3 fully geared Jobs and definitely burned out. I will go in to help out friends so they have a ride around NMs and protection from the baddies. But I'm glad I'm done with the place now otherwise until the next step.
Took a break for a few days. Has kinda helped re-center my thoughts on it. I can't binge it like I used to, but I do still like to spend a few hours a week there. Debating de-levelling to 10, for fun, but not totally sold on that idea yet.
Dude, its FF14,everytime they want to do big thing, they end up doing fate farm, eureka is a fate farm,no more. so OF COURSE you get burned out,and i must say,you quite hold on quite good, after 3 days i was totaly sick of it.
I'd really like to get the relic, but playing other games just seems a lot more fun lol.
I've basically been done with Anemos for a while. Hopefully the devs learned their lessons going into Pagos (Ice), or we'll freezer-burn out fast before many people, even the major completionists like myself, get their weapons and gear upgraded.
Because that zone seems be no bark all frostbite? (I'm sorry)
What's going to happen to the previous Eureka zone? Are newcomers just going to be absolutely fucked because they didn't rush the content when it launched? Is there going to be any catch up mechanics? Daily quests? Quests in general?
Who am I kidding, Square probably doesn't even think that far. We'll have to wait and see.
I'm burnt out after getting all the relic items wanted upgraded. But now I'm happy hearing there going to add next area very soon. Eureka is really nice place to explore.
I've barely gotten started on it really. I'm only level 5 so far and have yet to join in on a train. Hearing that people are burned out on it already doesn't give me much hope of ever getting anywhere.
I resubbed to try it and within a day I couldn't zone into it without feeling physically exhausted. Just looking at it made me feel like I needed a nap. So I unsubbed and uninstalled the game. I got to level 4 (about halfway to 5) and was done. The NM train is uninteresting because I'm completely useless for most things, and was doing < 20 damage to MOBs, but getting insta-killed by trash when following it. Never bothered against after the first try.
Whenever I'd zone in and do an LFG, specifically stating I didn't want an NM Train party, people from the train would still spam invites to me... They weren't even bothering to read what you wrote - very social, and extremely considerate! It was a waste of time.
I probably wouldn't mind the grind, but the combat system in this game is not grind-friendly. I was actually looking forward to some relaxing grind, until I actually logged in and FELT it I action. It's not good.
It's a recipe for RSI, and you basically cannot do anything while doing it - no chatting/communications, etc. It's non-stop button mashing, especially since grinding is dependent on the chaining of kills - and you're on a timer.
In games like EQ, the combat was structured in a way to facilitate socializing while grinding MOBs. On a Wizard I wasn't face rolling my keyboard while grinding in a group. I cast my couple of spells and waited for the next pull. Same on my Necro, Mage, Enchanter, Cleric, and even Melee Classes like my Monk (since Auto Attacks played a bigger role in damage output for them). FFXIV's combat system is very dissimilar from this, but is layered on top of a grindy system designed at heart for early 2000's combat. This does not work out well. Not only is it boring, but it's physically exhaustive.
I also unsubbed/unfollowed most of the Twitch streamers I used to watch, since most are spending half of their time streaming Eureka grinding. There's nothing fun or interesting about watching that.
I got physically burnt out on this content without spending much time in it, and it made me not even want to play the game anymore because it had tired me out on the gameplay as a whole.
