MSQ first, then the rest of the world.
MSQ first, then the rest of the world.
Getting my inventory managed and going over the new crafting recipes to figure out what the markets are going to do. I never touch new story right away because I don't like finding msq npcs in big crowds.
Beastman quests first. In the US so daily reset is either at 10 or 11am, so I'd rather be on top of that until maxing out instead of missing a day.
Edit: Also finding anything I can use to throw puns at my FC to make them either groan or join the 'Bacent no' club.
Look at new crafting recipes and figure out what to sell to make more gil.
(Also make that new bomb stove if it's implemented this patch. I really want it)
Get up long before reset so I can get a head start on new Ananta beast tribe quests. Main story afterwards followed by new dungeon then new raid.
Run around checking the MB and vendors to see what the new gear looks like on me. Rage at the pieces that looked great on the female characters they were shown on but have awkward changes or just flat can't be worn on my character.
Then maybe MSQ, though I like to record/screenshot that so I may wait until there are fewer people clustering around the NPCs first.
Grab all the glamour gear I've been hoarding since 2.0 and feed it to the glamour log, stack all my one-type-does-everything prisms to free up like 6 slots right there, and stack all my dyes, materia, and crafting mats into my chocobo bag and gaze joyfully at all my freed up room!
As a side note on the glamour log, I really don't see the "can't get it back" as that big of a problem. 1. I can solo farm most of the content this stuff came from already. 2. Most of what I can't farm has a dye-able crafted version out for it I can make. And 3. As I only play one job, PLD, I doubt I'll even be able to fill half of that thing with what I've got laying around. But that's just me.
The thing I always do when a new patch comes out, play around with the new aesthetics and feel pretty for the rest of the week~
Rearrange my WAR crossbars.
Then put on pants.
How come it takes so long to do the maintenance? Is there a load of testing to do or something? :)
MSQ. I want to go through it so I can unlock expert again
check out new emotes (and take /gpose pics with them)
check out new hairstyles
glamour game at GS
check out new items at GS
check out glamour dresser and prolly not use it cuz I don’t think I’ll want to destroy any gear :/
First things first. Retainer bell to check who my retainers robbed again.
MSQ>>new primal>>>omega
MSQ then new Omega normal or the new side dungeon
MSQ > unlock other bits of content (Fractal HM, Ananta, Sigmascape, Byakko) > see what mats/stats are needed for the new combat gear.
First thing?
Reorganize inventory. 999 stacks + chocobo saddle + maybe the glamour dresser.
Stalk Ixion, check out all of the new gear sets, MSQ, then maybe go plot for world domination.
Pondering whether this game is worth the sub anymore. It seems to be getting harder and harder to justify after each patch. :(
Store all my promo costumes in the Armorie to free up some inventory space.
Change class to a melee DPS one and run dungeons later.
Very curious about what the new warrior rotation feels like. First, thing i'll do is beat up a striking dummy. After that, it's on to main scenario.
Hyomin and I will probably do some of the MSQ to unlock things. Afterwards, it's crafting and more crafting since we both raid later that night.
Beast tribe unlock, then freeing up a few hundred inventory slots between the 999 stacks and desynth of 310 gear.
Depending on my sleep cycle I could end up getting up at 3 or 4 am and start downloading the patch and be lucky to get to play an hour or so before work. Tues is finish MSQ and unlock everything, hope to do some roulettes an try to beat all of Sigmascape normal (will have to repeat for loot if I don't get drop the first time)
Beast Tribe so I can get a whole day's worth of quests done before reset.
Go home so I can play.
Also yes, free up about 150 slots of inventory that are currently full of "I like how this looks, maybe someday I'll use it" glamour gear. Start my retainers gathering more Crafting mats since I limited myself to 1 slot for expensive/HQ mats each.. now that slot will hold 999. Then I'll go find out what the Gentleman Inspector is up to.
Put my garden back in place and tend the Thav Onions then off to beast tribe quests to beat reset.
I'm going to check on new crafting recipes/materials to see what I need to get some crafted i350 gear going, as well as to sell some stuff for more money. Then I'm unlocking and doing the first day's worth of Ananta quests.
going to do the new main story quests.
Grab all the unlocks while I wait for people to log and run the new stuff with, and grab the beast tribes.
Fell cleave....
I will probably log on some time this week. maybe.
I only have one creative tome gear piece (bracelet I think), 2 pieces from Rabanasty, maybe a few verity tome items... whatever. My iLvl is still 315 or so. I will go see if I qualify to enter any of the new content. If not, I will probably feed the FC chocobos and then log off again until FC friends give me a reason to come back (maybe some Y'shtola or Yotusuyu MSQ stuff?). I don't think I actually finished the previous patch content. Still need to do Skalla or something?
Relearn warrior... AGAIN.
MSQ roulette.
I'll put all my event gear I CANNOT equip in the armoire along with tanking gear from 0-59 (and lvl 60 if it's not ilvl 260 gear). I'll put all healing gear sub 50 in the armoire. I'll put all my leveling gear in there (for jobs below 50). Then maybe sell some crafting materials. After that, gather up ALL my elemental matera from my matera retainer for transmutation (it's a lotta space I need). Probably MSQ up thru the new dungeon so I have a few quests to do for next patch MSQ wise. If this beast tribe is the crafting one, start with crafting quests on ALC and if not, go do moogles on my other DOH jobs.
Same thing I do every patch. Play around with the new settings. See if I want the mouse wheel to do anything. Decide if I want to turn off battle music. Look into resizing dialog boxes. Etc.
Daily beast tribes.
