A love letter from a foolish landwalker
To my beloved Garuda,
Your beauty struck like a hurricane, sweeping me off of mine feet. Everytime we meet you leave me breathless, gasping trying to tell you how I feel. I often ponder to myself wind will we stop hurting each other, and just expect our love for one another. Everyone thinks that I am just blowing hot air when I talk about you. I have sacrificed a certain dark knight multiple time to please you. Even if you don’t return my feelings, I at least know that I will always be the wind beneath your wings.
Your foolish landwalker,
Rin Mei

The Letter on Providence Point

It has been too long since my last visit my friend,
I always feel drawn here even after the longest time away. The waters of Hingashi were warm and bright, the plains of Othard vast and teeming with life; tis true I have now travelled further than I had ever hoped, it has all been for those we can yet save.
Coerthas has had colour returned to her cold cheeks; your brother sits where you once were. Although it may be scary moving forward, I would hope for nothing more than small steps.
I have been trying my hardest to hold my chin high although it wavers, I smile and encourage others to as well. It is no lie; I do not try to hide it, I miss you. I miss you, and it grips my heart tight within my chest. No amount of armour, no shield could fend off this pain. It should have been me; I would take every spear, I would ward off every Garlean, I would send all into Aether to have you here. To hold you when I did not.
I have since hung up my cane and cloak; healing proved worthless in the face of death. I have taken up a shield now, and I wield a smile on the battlefield -I heard it better suits a hero.
I will smile for those I have lost. I will keep all behind my shield until the day Hydaelyn's voice fades...
and then...
you will be there.
I wish to hold you until my arms grow weary and cry until no sound can pass my lips. Until then, I would ask you to wait for me; my work here is not complete. I must keep smiling. I must keep fighting.
Until we meet again.

Hildebrand, a 10 out of 10
Hildebrand, everyone's type of man,
It is obvious you fell from heaven.
There is not a person that's not your fan,
All would score you at over a seven.
Your detective skills are second to none,
Must be a breeze for someone so dapper.
Your adventures have been a lot of fun,
I'm sure it helps being such a strapper.
To solve the cases you have to know 'em,
There is no way you are like other men.
Just like every line in this poem,
These syllables and your looks are a ten.
There is nothing else I'm able to say,
Except be mine this Valentione's day

Quote:
To my cultured conjurer,
Valentione's Day crawls slowly upon us. I wrote you a poem, so read it, you must:
Zenos is dead(?).
Goobbue goes "achoo"!
When his blade slashed you, my heart sunk a thousand yalms times two.
Not once, but twice, have you caused me quite the scare.
On the first I thought I had lost you forever, and it didn't feel fair.
Though the lives we lead are prone to many dangers,
I'd pick this life over one where we'd be strangers.
Not all my tasks involve liberating cities and dancing with eikons on a battlefield.
Most of the time I'm a delivery girl, or do favors for the sake of the adventurer's guild.
Just know that even if my trips take me from The Ruby Sea to The Gold Saucer,
You are always on my mind, in one way or another.
I understand that this confession might seem out of the blue.
And you might not even like girls, that, I thought about too.
You're my favorite scion and one of my closest friends.
If it stops right there for you, no more love letters will I send.
Though I'm quiet as a mouse, despite being a bard,
Writing this letter to you wasn't very hard.
I'd deliver it in-person, but don't know where you are.
I trust the folks at the Reach won't have to look very far.
Happy Valentione's Day,
Amanda
P.S. You rock, you Rhul.

Miounne, more than just a mother to us all.

Dear Miounne,
I continue my adventures in the now distant lands of Doma. But upon this time of Valentione, I can only think of how much I miss what I once called home.
I pray that this poem reaches you so that it can inspire others who followed you, just as I did before.
My mognificent Miounne,
more motherly than the moon.
From first findings,
to Hydaelyn's hollowed howlings.
Eorzea ever endeavors,
to stifle sudden surrenders.
Remember the Motherly Miounne,
who withholds our realm reborn.
Fight for even greater glory,
so songs sing not of an arrival awry.
Delightedly doubtful a Dalamud,
But a moon my Motherly Miounne.
Do not mistake it for a love poem, but a remembrance that home has a heart. So please keep Gridania thriving and beating as you always have. In due time I shall return!
