My guess for the claw mount is either gold saucer or new achievements for the new feast map which is more likely this one considering they usually add a mount for new pvp maps etc. (Looking at you monkey and single airship mount). At least it gives me a reason to try out the new feast I guess.

I'm going to say HM Fractal is where it will be dropped, or an achievement reward for running X main scenario roulettes.

That would make sense but knowing how se does things they usually tie incentives like this to pvp unfortunately. *cough Astralogos -_-*

Actually I think Theodric is right here.

The change to CM and Prae are very likely to involve making cutscenes unskippable (it says in the LL that the runs will be longer), this obviously would cause a big drop of participation in those queues. How do you counter that? Add a mount and people will start to run it.

That's a big gamble. I wouldn't bother to do it, and mounts have limits as incentives if the duty they are tied to is unlikable enough. If SE does this, its a bad quick fix when they should have just made the instances solo instead.

Uhmmmm, a little bird just whisper in my ear the new claw mount will be 500 wins in the Astralogos. Good luck everyone.

Honestly yes, but also like riding the palm or sitting princess style would put me over the moon.

I REALLY wanted that white Griffon as a mount since I saw it.

I think it will be a fun thing to try out(who knows, might end up with a lot of extra MGP because of it)

Given that so many players still don't yet have the 100 wins mount from Rival Wings, I highly doubt they'd just add another so soon, and I already covered why it's not likely a Feast reward.

That's not to say it won't be PvP related or that I'm 100% right or wrong, but we'll see. Maybe tomorrow's live letter might tell us?

Part of me is holding out for some sort of update to Gold Saucer rewards since they are adding a new mini-game there.

Why would this even matter? Do you think pattern matching an npc for a small amount of MGP and maybe a minion from an achievement is compelling? Will you enjoy farming up ARR mats to make obsolete gear or paying a premium for it each and every day to clog up your inventory with the equivalent of GC turn ins that aren't turned in? I'm very excited for these updates; I really want to get my hands on those mounts. I was hoping they would introduce the Morin Khurr (the Xaela stringed instrument) as a playable instrument with the Perform update, but maybe (please please please SE) in the future? Glad they made a seperate UI for it though!

Just because you don't understand it or won't enjoy it doesn't mean someone else won't.

Roleplaying a little and showing off your carefully pieced together outfit AND getting a reward? Sounds entertaining to me.

I'm just waiting for the SB step up from Anima to be announced, the glamour minigame looks like something interesting to kill time on and the magitek hand mount looks cool, but I'll pass on it if it's a PvP thing.

Good gracious. They put effort into a non-combat related thing, and lots of us will play at it. You can go ram your head at the Jade Stoa EX instead.

I think the claw mount will be a drop chance from the new Fractal dungeon! :D

yes i know you use xbox controllers on pc... but why not show the PS4 buttons instead?

we have 2 screenshots now wich show how it works on PC and none wich shows how it works on PS4... >.>

Because if they are taking PC screenshots to prove it works with cross-hotbar users, using an XBox controller is multitudes easier as PS3 and PS4 need third party tools to work on PC.

IE, they got lazy.

They really need to update what all we can buy with achievement points more often. Only thing I actually can buy is the Hildebrand picture...and I have no need for it at all.

I haven't farm or clear the new ex primal but that new doggo I want it and the death claw

...the whole fashion thing is a once a week gold saucer activity that you get four tries on, and will quickly devolve into people posting what to wear on reddit. It's a wondrous tails that centers around items with worse failure conditions for a trivial reward, apart from the one minion or title they give for doing it for a year. We have a whole raft of content similar to it that is designed for weekly currency drops, and I don't see wondrous tails, or both special deliveries as content that is fun or compelling. It's not like they are going to even add a glamour game like triple triad or fishings big fish, as its described its pretty shallow stuff.

As for raiding, i think its stupid but its needed to isolate the raiders from the general populace so they don't ruin the game for the rest of us, to be blunt.

I have seen that robot from my childhood but I can't remember where is that from? Also nice of them to add the claw to achievement rewards hope we see more mounts being dumped there instead of gold saucer. 90% of the time I can't really bother even tping to gold saucer these days.

Seriously? You are still on this? How exactly are raiders like us ruining the game, do tell. Last time I logged in, I helped several parties out in need of a tank - in regular dungeons, that had nothing to do with raiding. So...how are we ruining the game?
