Goobbue Naming Thread

Mine will be FusRoDah, and then I watch myself getting knocked down from Goobbue.

I'll be following my naming theme where I name my mounts after "Skies of Arcadia" ...gigas-es (what the hell is the plural of gigas?). Anyways, chocobo is called Bluheim (the fast wind/water gigas) and I shall be naming Mr. Goobbue Grendel; the big lumbering earth gigas.

EDIT; The website seems to think gigantes is the plural of gigas so maybe that.

I really want to know what gender our pet Goobbue will be, to actually determine the name.

If female, names can be:
- Laufey
- Gerd
- Angrboda
- Gunnlod

If male, can be:

- Baugi
- Farbauti
- Hymir
- Norve

Mine will be known as Mighty Mighty Tiny.

I suppose all these are male?

I will name him Kong.

It said in the video "Available for a limited time", does this mean up to the release of 2.0?

That is some great music for the Goobbue mount! Very Chrono Trigger/Cross-esque.

Probably name it Cthulhu.. lol

This probably my favorite music in game so far, I will ride goobbue just so I can hear it ^^

I am also curious as to what the "limited time" means; I'm hoping it just means that there's a limited time in which we can get them, not a limited time for us to keep them.

If we get to name them, I will be naming mine Boyahda (I like picking FFXI zone names >.<)

The eye and drake shown during the live letter was more test footage then any thing. they have said that they were just "trying them out" so don't get your hopes up about them being in game.

The magitek thing on the other had is happening.

Goobbue >> 2 new instances (maybe they have a plant theme or Earth / seedlings)
Eye >> Garuda fight? (both have wings! trolol)
Drake >> Titan fight (Nom nom nom)

Magitek >> Legatus fight....

If this is a limited time thing, I hope that it paves the way for beastmaster. I would like to see in 2.0 the BST ride the summoned jug pet and control it like a player, with each pet having different play styles.
