Im cosplaying the Green Iron Armour next year. I currently have all the plans and schematics drawn out and am waiting on payday to begin.
I'm doing as much of it as authentically as possible and doing as many of the layers correctly. for example the cuirass is separate from the shirt underneath which has the upper arm and shoulder plates attached.

My hair is already styled like this irl because I like it so much :D

My build is pretty similar (6ft2, slim) I will be doing darkened skin makeup for all visible areas.

I'm pretty excited about the boots and gauntlets because of the hinges :O

If I were to make a ffxiv cosplay outfit it would definitely be the onion suit, the helmet would be the icing on the cake!

I've done a few cosplays myself, but I seem to be cursed when it comes to FF cosplay, I've tried to do Vincent, my char from XI and most recently Sephiroth, but I never seem to have the time to finish the costume before the convention, even when I give myself several months to do it.

haha I finished my Miqo'te cosplay one day before the convention xD
(and it was planed 3 days before the convention haha ^^;;; )

FINALLY!!!!!!, Someone else wants an onion doublet set. If i ever cosplay FF14, I'll do the Onion helm and put a how-to video on youtube for anyone who wants to try also.
