As a midcore gamer, I would hardcore play this so fast that Kefka would have to show up to steal their magic and force me to stop. Then I'd raid him and take his boots.

Ultima Weapon (Ultimate) what if the other base element primals were gathered up as well? Well, maybe not Shiva, but Leviathan and Ramuh certainly

That sounds awesome, the Triad are probably my favourite set of fights in the game so far. Imagine having to bait Sephirot's Earthshakers to hit Sophia and Zurvan!

Odin Ultimate.

I think Odin felt flat and neglected in ARR and didn't get enough attention. Odin should of been an extreme from the get go.

Concerning Ozma, they have already the 'star form', so it's a possibility too.

I would like to see Thordan too with the Azure Knights.
And Living Liquid + Brute Justice (and his 5 robots) + Alexander would be super cool.

I'd love either the Warring Triad or the Garlean Generals (Gaius with Livia, Nero, and Rhitatyn, followed by Regula, then Zenos). I would really rather not have Alexander (Ultimate) unless we were on the outside fighting him in the Hinterlands, then working our way inside or something.

Titan, Alexander or Susano. Take your pick. I go for Titan because of the song.

Imo. They should go for alex again.

alexander seems to be the most logical choice for 4.3 with omega savage for 4.5

Titan Ultimate sounds downright sadistic. He uses landslide and you'd have 3 seconds to find the tiny spot that -won't- knock you off. Sounds perfect.

Or Crystal Tower bosses, since they did mention/consider them (and the Syrcus Tower bosses could do with some remixing, as they are kinda... dungeon level easy).

Have that as a ultimate fight

Warriors of Darkness and this time you can't cheese them.

They get stronger as their HP falls lower but you have to kill them all at the same time. . . Even when you defeat all of them they become blessed by the light of -Spoiler- and gain a random Primal energy. Each Primal Energy would alter the mechanics of each Warrior of Darkness so the fight would always change and shift throughout this phase. Ifrit, Levi, Ramuh, Titan and Garuda would be the 5 aether's that the Warrior's of Darkness could be infused with and as each WoD falls during this phase the aether turns into a Primal which you must defeat before they use their Ultimate.

Rather than the fight be focused on players needing to be aware of all the mechanics that may be targeting them, the players would have to work on being aware of of which aether is being infused into each WoD and how to properly place themsleves in each combat situation.

Example. BLM would gain access to each "ancient magic"

Flare=Heavy Damage around target with heavy DoT
Quake=Medium damage that temporarily breaks part of the battlefield (Full AOE)
Flood=Medium AoE dmg that makes part of the battlefield wet. Causing heavy dmg with Lightning attacks and ability to Freeze said location if "Freeze" is cast on location by enemy
Burst=Heavy dmg + Stun
Tornado=places a moving tornado that deals moderate dmg to anyone trapped in it

So basically the idea is that with 5 WoD to fight and 5 Primals that they could change form into you would have about 19 different combinations to consider when doing the fight.

You gave me a thought of some FFXI nostalgia. The KS99 Battlefields. But in this case we could have King Behemoth, Aspidochelone and Nidhogg in one fight. Perhaps this would be a good "Nidhogg Ultimate" idea lol.

Since Gilgamesh has already said a couple of time, how about a Lahabrea Ultimate? A mix of the Nabriales and the Ascian Prime fight. With a few more fun mechanics.

Or Edda Ultimate cause we can't get enough of her.

After Bahamut Ultimate come Alexander Ultimate and Omega Ultimate.

I was just thinking, that creepy calcabrina doll from antitower that keeps slamming its own face into the floor. No way that would ever be chosen but it's hilarious to think about doll creepshow ultimate.

Typhon and Ultros would be an interesting one. Well annoying I mean with the arena boundary causing wipes if you get blown off.

How about the Warring Triad? Maybe fight each one as their own phase in the trial with modified mechanics to adjust to a new arena, then when all three are defeated the entities that form Crusader from FFVI emerge and fight the party at once for the final phase.

Edit: after going back through this thread, clearly I'm not the only one who likes the Warring Triad idea lol.

I don't think Hashmal is as bad as Ozma, as a matter of fact, I worried about Ozma till Mhach was no longer relevant, I've not had a team have trouble with Hashmal for the last two weeks. Hashmal doesn't take as much coordination as Ozma imo.
