and hopefully those two new dungeons dont replace previous content.

They mentioned on the JP side for 2.0 they are looking into adding difficulty system so they can make harder/higher level versions of the previous instance raid dungeons and such. Like say for example Totorak Lv50 version or Ifrit (Hyper) Extra-mode. They are going to try and change the rewards for harder mode and stuff so pretty sure they will find some way to keep previous content.

They are also super excited to give SE there money and wish SE would charge $100 a month for subscription fee so only super dedicated fans of the game with no complaints would be here to happily toss money at SE while they talk about how awsome the game is and how 2.0 is gonna bring millions of new paying customers!

I realized that people quitting is making some of you very upset. I myself will not subscribe as there is nothing in the game currently that is worth a monthly fee imo and i played a LOT of mmorpgs. The ones attacking people who are leaving are just mad cuz they won't have any more friends to play with come tomorrow. :)

Wow, didn't think my goodbye was really worth the flaming considering I wasn't being rude in any way shape or form. However, since I guess I"ll eventually be leaving...Dear Flamers, I an obviously worth something to you if you feel the need to respond to my pathetic goodbye thread.

As for the $$$ responses ...we really stopped playing I think sometime before or after Thanksgiving, we just kept our accounts open to try out the new patches...clearly they weren't show stopping enough for us...sorry. Money is in no way shape or form a big deal to us, however that doesn't mean we are willing to toss money at something we aren't going to play for a long period of time. Yeah big deal, it's 10$ a month...I'd rather take that 10$ a month and take my daughter our to lunch and have quality time with her than waste money on a game I'm not seriously thinking about playing until all revisions are done, ala 2.0

Me masochistic for playing a game I didn't like? I actually used to be someone who defended this game in the beginning. I always thought it would get better with fixes and such, that it would be to the standards of what an FF game should be...but as the year has gone on, it just showed me that this game was in no position to be released when it was released. All they had was Behest, crafting, leveling and main story, and a ton of bugs....me masochistic? Nope, just realistic in regards to the length of time that it will really take to fix this game. I'm still hoping it will be something, it's just not there for right now. However, I will have to say maybe the ones in denial are the real masochists? Just a thought.

Also, thanks again so much for the translations and updates from the JP side, that is really kind of you to take the time and do that. I would do the same thing if they had a Spanish speaking thread.

And the reason I'm saying good-bye on here is the LS I am apart of, not many people are very active in it so it seems, or at least when I have been on. So this is a good-bye not only to them, but to everyone, even flamers, who contribute to the forum community. The forums have honestly provided me with more entertainment than the game...which is sad, cause I should have been enjoying my favorite past-time more than posting here :/ hence why I have kept my account open for so long. The community on the forums, the good and the bad, are a great bunch of folks from all walks of life.

If for some reason, people can't understand why I would quit, that is fine, w/e. I can completely understand why many continue to play. This game provides a sense of enjoyment to you, awesome. Glad it does, I hope it can do the same for me at 2.0. So please to those of us who are quitting and maybe are saying good bye, try and be a bit more open minded as to why they would want to stop playing for the time being. If not...then I guess that says something more about the flamers than it does for the people who are taking a vacay from playing or who have quit for good.
