Dunno some are clearly photoshopped

If I had any proficiency with screenshotting (and if I was actually far enough in the game to have more scenery/gear options) I might have considered doing this. But still seems like a cool idea!

If you wanna imply that my Shiva battle shot is photoshopped, I can record a video reproducing how I've taken that shot as proof that it's not.

Hell, even better. I can actually give you the /gpose parameters I used for the shot.

I'm in the middle of a holy spell animation, right after the initial glow. I just froze mid-animation with the "Stop all motion" button.
Then configured effects for the shot using the Color Filter "Strengthened Effects" and Screen Filter "Brilliant 1".
Then I set up 2 lights: one purple-ish coming from behind strong to make my character glow, and another blueish pointed at Shiva to remove a shadow that she had.

Do all that and position the camera more or less like I did, and you'll get a shot pretty similar to mine.

/gpose is an absolutely incredible tool! I strongly suggest going into game and typing /gpose and playing around with it for an hour or two. There are over 20 filters and effects, 3 lighting sources (that can change color), and the ability to move the camera into different positions. If you've done that already and still think a model is using photoshop, PLEASE tell me a NAME so I can investigate. Otherwise I can't do anything. Thank you for your passion towards making ENTM a fair competition.

Hey Alexion! Thanks for posting exactly how you took that shot. It really helps clear up IMMEDIATELY that photoshop isnt being used. xD

Yooooooo, man this competition was just the thing to reinvigorate my interest for the game. Was getting burnt out and then spending even a few hours for the audition screenies just playing with /gpose maybe me remember how much fun this was. Will be looking forward to it if I make it past the audition round. But even just watching the episodes will be fun if I don't.

I've enjoyed being a highlander, clearly. Something about being tall again. But you probably feel the same with elves right? haha

Here is the email that went out recently, revealing 3 of the photo shoots for the upcoming competition! ((This was done to allow more time for shots and enjoying 4.1))

Starry Night
Please take a SCENIC photoshoot with the night sky as your back drop. Heavensward/Stormblood Areas are preferred but not a requirement. ((Scenic Shot = No Engaging with Enemies. Pose, Glamour, and Backdrop are the most important thing! Abilities may be used, but may distract from those 3 things, so be careful!))

By the River
Please take a SCENIC photoshoot with a river as your backdrop. Must be a natural river, not man made. Must be located outisde, not in a cave. Must be taken in Clear Weather, during the day. No sunset, sunrise, evening, or twilight pictures, please. Heavensward/Stormblood Areas are preferred but not a requirement. ((Scenic Shot = No Engaging with Enemies. Pose, Glamour, and Backdrop are the most important thing! Abilities may be used, but may distract from those 3 things, so be careful!)) Special Note: In some locations, even when it is 12:00 in the afternoon, the area may still be dark or purple. These locations are not allowed. A blue sky is required.

For both of these photoshoots, the following GPOSE filters/effects are NOT ALLOWED.

The 4 of you must come up with your own Team Concept. For Example, Team A Decides to do a Scenic Bikini Photoshoot. Each member would take a screen shot in a Bikini. The 4 Screenshots will be judged together as a team. The winning and losing team will then be judged separately to decide the Winning and Eliminated Model. While you work on your Starry Night and By the River screen shots, please start to think about a Team Concept for this photoshoot! Teams will be announced on the 10th of October!
