They can use the FFIV's elemenetal fiends instead: Rubicante, Cagnazzo, Scarmiglione and Barbariccia.

I wish they are included in the next Omega Raid though. Along with Zemus/Zeromus.

Either Brothers or Hashmal in the volcano in Ruby Sea. A side quest there says something about rumbling inside if I remember right.
Susano is new. Lakshmi is from FFVI.
Tht's my thoughts too, I would see a fight with the 4 fiends like A6 where we have to deal with the 4 robots.
The latest Halicarnassus isn't the real Halicarnassus FFXIV lore wise. It's just Omega's creation from a book narrating the story of FFV.
Mayby we will encounter Zodiac sign primals in much much later in the future xD
It's a tough call... We actually haven't met that many Beast Tribes in Stormblood. All we've met are the Kojin, the Ananta and the Lupin. The Kojin already have Sasuno, and the Ananta already have Lakshmi. As for the Lupin, they don't really seem interested in summoning a Primal, and overall appear to be much more civilized than any of the other beast tribes, easily capable of integrating into normal Doman society without any significant conflicts.
I guess if the Lupin were to summon a Primal somewhere down the line anyway, they would probably use some kind of dog-related summon. The only one I can really think of is Fenrir, but we've already got a mount of him.
Here's the full list of the remaining summons that appeared in other FF but did not make an appearance in any form in the XIV yet
Asura [FFIV]
Remora [FFV]
Crusader [FFVI]
Maduin [FFVI]
Raiden [FFVI]
Seraph [FFVI]
Tritoch/Valigarmanda [FFVI]
Quetzalli/Palidor [FFVI]
Ragnarok [FFVI]
Hades [FFVII]
Brothers [FFVIII]
Doomtrain [FFVIII]
Eden [FFVIII]
Quezacolt [FFVIII]
Pandemona [FFVIII]
Madeen [FFIX]
Valefor [FFX]
Anima [FFX]
Magus Sisters [FFX]
Mateus [FFXII]
Adrammelech [FFXII]
Zalera [FFXII]
Shemhazai [FFXII]
Hashmal [FFXII]
Zeromus [FFXII]
Exodus [FFXII]
Famfrit [FFXII]
Chaos [FFXII]
Ultima [FFXII]
All of these only appeared in a single main FF so at that point wouldn't be suprising if they ended showing up as simple bosses.
I'd see the next trials being Byakko, Genbu, Suzaku and Soryu. just because they appear on the map around kugane :p
Everyone consider Magus Sister from FFX even tho they're originally from FFIV
I could see them adding Mateus or Lich as Primals.
Most likely the new primals are the 4 Shinjin from XI: Byakko, Seiryu, Suzaku, and Genbu. They're already reflected in the Amano artwork from Stormblood. They probably sit atop a platform at the top of that huge tower in Ruby Sea like Jamie's look pit in Dragon Ball (which im sure we will ascend in a new dungeon) .They probably will be the warring triad of SB.
Pretty sure there's more Summons from FFs Past than what even Ultimatecalibur has listed. Some of them got demoted to Dungeon/Raid Bosses (Diablos & Fenrir), some got planted (Sylph), and some became Mounts (Hydra/Syldra & Fenrir).
Also can someone link to where they retconned Snowcloak's Fenrir into not being "THE" Fenrir? The minion and mount were specifically stated not to be THE Fenrir in the item/companion descriptions, but I don't ever remember hearing that for the Snowcloak boss?
It says so in the text that comes with the Fenrir Triple Triad card:

They've added the Warring Triad who aren't summons in the past but are made Primals here so there's always that possibility they'll add Primals that weren't summons previously.
So we have Susano as a primal in ffxiv
SE used Amaterasu as a type of summon or avatar in FF Explorers
Cant immediately recall if they ever used Tsukuyomi, Izanagi, or Izanami in games but they are all tied together in Japanese mythology
Technically what we get is a new trial each patch - it doesn't have to be a primal (Nidhogg for example isn't).
Also, if we do get Doomtrain, I want it to be part of the Hildibrand story, purely so that Godbert can suplex it.
Golem was a Primal ( Summon ) in FF VI. Several other Summons from FF VI that I don't believe they have used yet are Cait Sith, Fenrir, Seraph, Phoenix, Ragnarok.
ok ..I guess they have used Phoenix.
If we don't get the 4 fiends during omega I can see SE adding them as primals. Barbariccia is kinda like Garuda anyway, you could easily leave her out.
The 4 fiends of FFI/IX would also work.
Fenrir in Snowcloak only has "Lunar Cry", but that makes sense for any wolf monster to have. The real Fenrir would have Moonlit Charge, Lunar Bay, Lunar Roar, Crescent Fang, Eclipse Bite, etc...
Lets also look at beastmen in game that haven't summoned a primal yet
Mamool-Ja
Qiqirn
Those catfish ppl I don't remember the name of
Unsure if Tonberries would be classified as beastmen
The mammoth people in steppes
Goblins had alexander but they didn't summon it
Lupin we're currently unsure if are actually considered beastmen.
Crusader/Jihad already appeared in the form of its individual components when we faced the Warring Triad as the Crusader Magicite was implied to be a fragment of the triad's power. Though it would be cool to fight them together in their Crusader forms as part of a 24 man raid.
Genbu, Suzaku, Byakko an Seiryu were on the map surrounding what I think is Kugane or the larger island with that big Mt Fuji looking mountain on it. The only other thing that stood out that I haven't seen in game or in plot is that giant looking thing with what looks like a sword lumbering around the clouds in the middle.
I still want Haurchefaunt to come back as a primal and have for years. Seriously they went through all that trouble to set up the premise of people being brought back to life as Primals with Tiamat's revelations about Bahamut, yet they never did ANYTHING with it. Even when the Ascians know it would potentially trip the Warrior of Light to fight the avatar of someone they cared for.
Except the real Fenrir is just a wolf. A legendary alpha wolf to be sure, but still just a wolf. And the boss fight in Snowcloak against him he more or less took on his summon skills from FFXI anyway so that is pretty conclusive Fenrir will never be a Primal.
Same goes for Diabolos who is a voidsent demon and not a Primal (again he uses the same skills from his summon form in FFVIII and XI).
