I agree and advice you to ignore posts like that. What you should do is to keep making threads with the same underlying attitude (which you should not apologize for under any circumstances) so that, in the future just like now, all of your upcoming threads will degrade into flamefests and as such do not need to be taken seriously and be happily ignored. You do not have to bend over to meet the ridiculous demands of the people you are talking to either and can happily spew nonsense without having to compromise.

Some time ago existed another thread aimed to devs (don't remember what they asked): a dev popped in, responding to the thread, remarking the fact it's their policy not respond to thread directly aimed to them.

You are absolutely correct. Slightly provoking opinions create a discussion, domesticated opinions do not.

There is a difference between provoking a flamewar related to any subject at hand and provoking a flamewar related to the poster in question. The former might prove to be useful in the long run, the latter merely feeds the attention whore while the original topic is largely ignored.

I do hope that in the future you keep taking the spotlight instead of the stuff that comes out from your mouth. fortunately you seem to have already dedicated yourself to this sacred duty.

Dont start if you did not want it in the first place. I will always defend myself against trolls (in my book if you are looking for a fight you are a troll). If you did not like the way I said/posted something then dont reply in the first place.

If you actually go and reread the stuff that YOU YOURSELF posted towards me you would find that you are being negative and bashing ME, I have never STARTED the bashing, someone else does and you yourself cannot admit to starting the fight previously. yes i will make jabs at people, but theres a point when its just downright going too far which you have clearly demonstrated, now im not making any assumptions as to how old you are, but maybe it is time to leave the playground antics behind and talk to people more civily.
calling people retards, telling them to pretty much F off every time you dont get your way isnt gonna win you any friends and its only gonna get you the wrong kind of attention

also, alot of the people bashing me, are known trolls in the forums(some of which do go out of their way to defend other people they feel are trolling with them)

stick around for a bit longer and youll start to see this pattern too

If you're looking for a chat with devs, you probably just end disilluded, they can't reply to posts aimed to them, nor they can deliver something on new raids until it's set on stone. This work for every other aspect of the game/forum.

did not have the info? did you even read the post? I asked a question of the player base what they wanted to see, so yah...seeing as how only 1 or 2 people posted useful things yes I do not have the info. Again, if you have nothing to contribute then leave.

Also last time I checked SE wants us to discuss these sorts of things and submit feedback to the Dev team. So I say to the Dev team and everyone else, if you want proper feedback then we need more information about what you are trying to accomplish or what you have in mind. Simply saying "do this to leave feedback" does us no good, feedback on what? All it says is we have 2 new raids in the works. What kind of raids? Will they be low man? Endgame? 8 man? 4 man? 6 man? Solo? This is the area in which I would like to see more info.

the answer is simple

that they will reveal to us what these 2 raids in 1.21 are when they are ready to

asking alot doesnt get the answer to come any quicker, they are under a NDS themselves and can lose their jobs if they give us info that they have not been cleared to give us

hell we just got 1.20, lets work with what we got now, and wait til they are ready for the reveals for the next patch(which should be about 6 weeks away)

info will come on those, just give it some time, but as of right now, all we know is there are 2 of them, and they are coming

I don't know what "we" want to see, mostly because it's unpredicable, and we don't even know what shape this raids will have (and feedbacks are supposed to be given AFTER the adjustments, since we don't have test servers*). The only thing I want it's something where people is FORCED to bring different classes/jobs in (since this shit of OP-only party it's, well, shit). And maybe this 2 new raids to be both for 45+

*i say this because, before 1.20, people seen description of the ability "the next spell will have longer range" (aka, resonance) and started yell "OMG this skill it's useless +1).
Before know the cone shape of thm been hammered, and even see the new fights...which proven this skill is very useful

The issue with the OP here is the way in which he handles himself. He clearly thinks that someone disagreeing with him is grounds for a fight, and that he needs to defend himself. The fact that he so vehemently posts retaliatory responses every time he feels wronged shows that he only wants to discuss his point of view, and have others massage his ego. If you disagree with what he's saying, you must be a troll, usually accompanied by some other curse word, because it makes people take you super-serial.

He's one of those people, who would rather fight constructive criticism and go on the defensive, as they attempt to hold their ground, like being weak is being strong, instead of taking a deep breath, reading posts with a level head, and figure out what it is they could do to avoid being flamed.

You could tell him everything he needs to hear to not be flamed for anything, except by legitimate trolls, (because we all know real trolls troll just to troll, not to express their opinions in a constructive way) and he would still continue to defend himself. Usually a product of their father and upbringing, you will never convince them to be more civil, as that's the modus operandi for civility to them.

I wish I was wrong, and that the OP would pull a 180 in his next response.

OP doesn't freshen up on all the facts before his posts, noted. Implying the Devs have a lack of communication (ignoring the comment I just made about this) means that he's grown accustomed to the communication SE has demonstrated is possible these days, and is now holding out his bowl asking "more poridge." Am I the only one who died laughing when they read this?

To be honest I haven't thought about the 1.21 dungeons at all. I think it's because after Darkhold I have a negative connotation of dungeons in FF14. That's not to say Darkhold was bad I think I just remember getting really burnt out and frustrated with the game around that time.

I just watched a Darkhold (and TotoRak) vid recently and thought it might actually be fun to redo it sometime w/ the new changes. I won't... But had I not done the dungeon over 200 times to get like 60 (exageration) different people gear when they just ended up quitting the game anyways before 1.19, I probably would go back and try it out.

I don't even know what a good dungeon is anymore, or what to expect. The idea that a dungeon could possibly be addicting and fun to me right now I can't even fathom. In terms of content that is...

For rewards? I'd like to get some company seals, like, idk, maybe x number of seals per completion, scaled accordingly to the difficulty of the dungeon/average time to clear it, split evenly amongst party members. And then seal bonuses for certain achievements, killing everything (so long as its not boring, like kill those marmots that are completely out of the way and pose no threat to dungeon completion), specific achievements like killing all the moogles before memento, but incorporate that into the dungeon and give seal bonuses for it.

This is straying slightly off topic because it's about the Grand Companies, but they could put more variety of items (quality and quantity) into GC items that can be purchased. Maybe higher GC ranks get 1% more seals per completion. If I'm going to run this dungeon 100+ times w/ all my friends, can I atleast get a little something out of it everytime? I'm aware of the luck/chance/random loot system which we all love/loathe... They can keep/lose it for all I care when it comes to gear/weapons. But having a 100% certainty of grand company seals upon completion would seem like a +1 to me. Doesn't have to be Grand Company seals... but atm 6k gil or w/e we get from the other primal/dungeon chests is kinda moot imo.

And as for gear/weapon rewards... Does it even matter? People clear Primals in Reindeer suits.

I also read all the translations from that one thread that has the JP dev and yoshi translations in it. The fact of the matter is the JP threads get more attention and more information because the devs themselves are JP. I want to see more info from the NA devs/reps in regards to what is going on with the game. The NA reps repeatedly post official translations of both Yoshi-P's frequent posts as well as the devs and JP reps. You've been following the dev tracker right? Then you should know this.

On top of the official translations coming in a timely manner, we have Reinheart who is taking time to post quick translations of all the JP-side dev posts.
