i tried to tracert aether (204.2.229.9) and keep geting a timeout somewhere, also some package loss in the routers immediately before and immediately after the timeout one.

177.36.36.205 is inside Brazil and 213.248.74.63 seems to be in Switzerland, no clue where is the one with timeout

It's sad that us users are trying to diagnose the problems because we've received ZERO info from SQEX :-/

Yeah. Sad that even if we can reach a accurate diagnosys, we still won't be able to solve it on SQEX's end!

i have to say i am from P.R. and since yesterday attack i have been able to play in the towns and hunt and stuff but when i try to do a dungeon or raid after 12pm est i get what many have been listing the constant dc i dont see the error code anymore just cus i found that for my case its faster to just close the game than to wait for it to fully dc me. i how ever found that late night i didnt have those problems and early morning is sofar in the afternoon to late evening.

I'm having this same issue as well. Yesterday it was really bad to the point I couldn't do FATEs, some quests and got dc'd right away at the begin of instances.
Today it's a bit better, but I still can't do instanced duties without getting disconnected after 10-15 minutes or right away if I try to enter consecutive times. I've reached the point I can't even progress in the main story quest line because it requires me to complete a dungeon and it's simply impossible.
Also it seems to take a long time before I definitely get dc'd and sent back to the title screen. Instead I just can't move or fight or do anything else beside using the chat window.

Sent a support ticket to S-E but I am still waiting for an answer.
I'm from Midgardsormr server from the Aether NA Data Center, and PS4 platform.

Seeing this occur to a friend. NA player on lamia.
It kicks him out upon log-in.

What's baffling is that he shows up on my end. His avatar shows up with red ring, and then after a minute vanishes, just like some of the above complaints. He can't perform any imputs at all, not even the menu works.

I can even interact with him in that short minute. I sent him an invite hoping I could trick the game into porting him out of Quarrymill (if that was the issue), and the invitation shows up on his screen!

It's so bizarre. It let's him join the "lolnope" kicks him right off the sever.

He's rebooted his entire system, and even reinstalled, but is still kicked.

I managed to get out of Quarrymill!
This only works on PS4 though!

Set up internet connection like this:

IP Address (set to automatic)
-DHCP host name (set to Do Not Specify)
-DNS Settings (set to Manual)
-Primary: 8.8.8.8
-Secondary: 8.8.4.4
-MTU Settings 1470
-Proxy (set to Do Not Use)

I haven't done any dungeons yet but I could escape Quarryhell!

I would like to say I'm also suffering this problem. I've been 90002ed several time in the past 20 minutes or so.

Getting the same too, about 30 seconds before I get the error, can't do anything except move the camera

Exactly the same thing, only any casting does it. Teleporting, chocobo whistle, even Midare. This is a joke.

Happening to me since last night x.x
I'm about to leave this game for good until they fix all this stupid issues.

If I'm anywhere but on duty I won't get dcd. However, whenever I join a duty it constantly kicks me. I'm taking 30 min penalties, but why should I when the issue it's not on my end?

This also worked for me. Set it up exactly as stated and not had anymore disconnects the entire day! Well... knock on wood...

I am in UK trying to play on NA Faerie.

Every teleport i arrive invisible and then dc after 30 secs.
Every quest npc or object to interact with, I freeze and dc after 30 seconds.

But if I just stand around and do nothing i can at least chat lol.

For the Ps4 players using Juzo's method seems to work 100% of the time, at least I was able to do roulettes and I'm online for quite a while without being dc, for PC users try to use a VPN, I saw some people using Wtfast and it seems to be a work-around till they fix this issue

Gladly, I'm no longer having this issue now. I don't know if it's their latest maintenance that fixed it or a couple tips I followed from Square's support.
They suggested me to recheck the Java and Cookies items from the web browser options, and to set my date and time by using Internet instead manually and then restart the PS4. Sharing that so might help in case any PS4 users are having this trouble yet.
Now I can run any instance and do anything just fine! Hope that issue doesn't happen again.
