Rukkiri, why would you ever want to stop hearing this?
Okay, so Malakhim woke me up after 6 hours of sleep for this...
I HATE YOU!!! AHHHHH IT'S STUCK IN MY HEAD!
Everything about this fight is absolutely fun. Its 100% a Final Fantasy fight, from the music to the intro video, and the fight itself.
One more thing: I demand a confirmation of the correlation between "Halloween Town" and this theme from the composers, just because.
Best battle music ever!
They need to perform this at Distant Worlds and have the audience sing like they do with One Winged Angel :O
Pretty accurate as Ruri stated. You've good ears! I can't stop listening to the song and reading the lyrics you've provided.
I keep trying to hear what Kupti Koop was doing to find his troop. Sounded like "Rolling on the whiskers to find his troop".
And the one where you have nothing but question marks, I heard something like (though it doesn't rhyme much):
Jolly - - who's focus is clear
He'll find a nail and split your head
The only one missing from those lyrics is Kupqu Kogi (Archer) from what I can tell. Just took a look at one of the videos of the battle and I believe all others were accounted for.
Also perhaps
Refers to the king? I mean being the biggest moogle of them all, it would make sense.Quote:
? and standing tall
With the biggest moogle of them all
I love this music. Sound Director Masayoshi Soken is doing a great job!
The only way I could think of to improve this track would be to accentuate the voices just a little more. It would be interesting to hear the track balanced to give the voices a more prominent role.
Come to think of it, I would imagine that it's somewhat more difficult for Soken to adjust sound settings for music with singing in English, since it's not his native language. I lived in Japan for 7 years, and I remember occasionally seeing movies in English (subtitled in Japanese) in theaters where it was a little difficult to catch what was being said. The sound was equalized in such a way that the voices were buried in other sounds, which wasn't a problem for the majority of the audience, since they were reading the Japanese subtitles.
Anyway, I'm getting off track. Great job, Soken (and everyone else who contributed to creating this music)! I love what you do, I and I look forward to seeing what's coming in each new patch! :D

deserves new post!
Thought it was
"Wave a wall of whiskers to find his troop"
And it's
"His judgement you will dread."
Becuase that rhymes with "Head"
At this point, I know I'm not the only one who's listened to this song over 50 times in one sitting lol.
We need more music like this in the game.

almost completed... need 2-3 words
Hey, Rem, "Leads them right and true" is right. They're saying "Right" with an accent so it sounds like "Reet".
Oh god. This is great. I just looked it up.
Don't know if you guys have time to respond, but I'm curious about the music for the game.
What direction do the devs want to take it? Who's doing the new music!? I really am interested. I always really love hearing various composers within games and mmo's especially. I know Uematsu was doing the music for the original soundtrack, but with the new team, who's doing the music!?
The original soundtrack was all done by Nobuo Uematsu, but some of those tracks still haven't made it in game. For the brand new ones, forgive my bad spelling, but I believe the new composers are Masoyoshi Soken, Kumi Tanioka, and Naoshi Mizuta (the latter two were composers for XI as well.)
Sounds like a combo of Final Fantasy, Disgaea 3, and Nightmare before Christmas.
Hopefully this isnt the last Moogle battle, or the last we see of King Moggle Mog, the twelfth of his name.
:P
I also need to chime in and say that this song. Is. AWESOME. I can't stop listening to it!
Not sure why, but my favorite lines in the entire song are these two lol.
Puksi Piko likes it when he's big
To sing a little song and dance a little jig
Pukna Pako shivs and shanks
She'll stick you in the gut and give you bellyaches
I was humming this in my head at work today, for the 1000th time.
The first that came to my mind after hearing the first 10 seconds of this song was indeed "This is Halloween!" Huge fan of KH (p*-*)p
I really like Ashiee Horkeu's video with lyrics:

SE really need to make the karaoke option with the lyrics and jumping ball into the game, so we can sing along with it while getting wiped XD
Well good news (and maybe bad news for those of you who have to listen to someone sing it out loud... every day... all day long...), the lyrics are currently being prepared for release!
Hatersgonnahate.gif
I have to ask if reps can pass this along but did Danny Elfman have a hand in the battle music, I know SE featured "This is Halloween" in a Kingdom hearts game so wondering if SE worked directly with him and more specifically for the mog fight music.
So, uhh...forgive me if I'm missing something, but I just listened to the moogle fight music at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsKv1E-TOqU and I heard no lyrics to speak of. I have yet to actually try the fight yet though, is it something that can only be heard in game?
Try the singing version http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=GpftrjYCzpA
Song reminds me of the "This is Halloween" song from nightmare before christmas.
I've been informed by people close to the matter that the player-compiled lyrics are still not 100% accurate... I wonder if you all can get 'em figured out before we post the official lyrics. THE RACE IS ON.

It sounds like "He'll raise a wall of whiskers to find his troop" -> "He'll wiggle all his whiskers to find his troop"
"Jolly Kogi's eye will follow his clear, He'll fire an arrow straight in your rear"
"Jolly Kogi's eye will follow his clear, he'll point an arrow straight through your ear"
