I'm sure many many people have given up on Raubahn (savage) on my server and data center but we must have more people than you do becuase the issue has not gone away.

I'm on Tonberry and can confirm there have been issues with the MSQ not working and zones lagging and crashing.

No, we had the exact same issues when early access started. Then they made some changes, and people could start to progress through the MSQ. Only reason it looks like more people are progressing is because our DC has a smaller population than the NA dc's.

I cleared the MSQ block, but had to stop because the areas are just too laggy and now I'm stuck in constant 1 hr+ queues to get into the game.

So I wouldn't transfer, because a) don't give SE more money and b) you're going to just experience the same issues as more people transferring will just make it worse.

Eh I'd rather deal with the entry queue than have Raubahn cockblock at every click. At least server queuing is a passive activity; I can do something else while in line.

Edit - And as you can see from my profile I ended up transferring to Tonberry for this.

I can confirm without a shadow of a doubt however, as a Coeurl to Tonberry refugee, that Raubahn here isn't being mobbed (there are like only 4 other people here), and that I MANAGED TO GET INTO THE INSTANCE ON MY FIRST TRY.

Will update when I get to Pippin.

I have an alt on Tonberry, similar name. Just got passed the first instance (there was no one crowding around the fellow. It was surreal).

Can also confirm that Pippin in Tonberry (and hence Elemental DC) is free of problems.

It's working on at least one server (or data center?), not much else matters. If someone is going to transfer, they only need to know what the one working server is.

Trying to queue on to Tonberry now after a crash trying to zone in to an area. Staring at a 3600+ place in said queue.

Not exactly "zero issues".

Lmao excuse me for not reading Japanese. If you read the rest of this thread, you'll see players from at least 2 different servers in the Japanese data centre reporting no issues.

Also, my original question stands. Where has anyone in this thread said, as you quoted, "all Japanese players are on a single server?"

we are reporting issues, just we are also reporting that people made single file lines to take turns and now that the 'bulk' of early access people are now past the raubahn stage.

New 'issues' from here is that to get into the game there is queues of 4000 people (about 2-3hours+ to log in) and the first trial is bugging, locking people out/crashing etc. its been learned that if you emote then go into the fight (enter instance) while being mid emote it will do this too you. Take care of that one!

No, they are spread over 3 datacenters whereas that's the combined total of NA and EU datacenters. See the problem yet?

From what I've seen, players that have gotten through the wall are doing so by playing at the dead hours with a far smaller crowd. The fact that players telling others how to make a click Raubahn macro while we wait instead of actually seeing something let up over here is concerning.

Such a bad first impression.

Tonberry definitely had the same instance issue. It has cleared up mainly because we have less people per server.

Now, please stop transferring to Tonberry and making our queues long. They are other emptier servers.

I just had a friend wait in queue for 2 hours to log in, then they DCed zoning into Ruby Sea from the Feast within 5 minutes.

This thread is irritating. No matter how many players on JP servers come and say, "yes, we had problems too, and sometimes still do, but they are lessening because our overall POPULATION IS SMALLER" nobody listens and keeps making excuses. There's been no "fix", we are not prioritised, why do people seem so desperate to feel like victims?

I mean, feel free to transfer servers. But Tonberry is probably the jp server you are MOST likely to get DCd, so enjoy that.

I'm fairly certain that's how myself and my husband made it through those first solo instances. Several people in our FC who were also playing the game early morning EST hours managed to slip in. Others who could only really play in the prime time hours in the evenings have had no luck. :/

I'm also convinced this is why I could get SAM's instance no issue Friday morning, but kept having disconnects that night on RDM's (got in on the 7th try) and was stuck on Raubahn Savage all afternoon and evening today.

My husband was actually the first of the whole FC to get past Raubahn Savage and he's already gotten to level 70! Not sure if he finished the MSQ or not but he helped me with Susano. :) And again, we both got lucky because we had no problems with the Susano fight locking us out of the game. I actually did crash in the cutscene after the fight, but I was able to get right back in. We did that fight at like 8:45am EST.
