PATCH TIME ANNOUNCED! DEC 15th!

For me, the maintenance is over Midnight.... So it starts 15th but ends 16th..... DEBATE!

I made a joke. I took what you said with a grain of salt and made another lame joke based on our discussion in the miner thread. The line above is also a lame joke.

I am working tonight night shift then I am off with pay untill the 6th, which works perfectly with the patch incomming. The patch that has 5 threads of people swearing that the patch will be late, then rolling into 5 threads complaining about 5 threads. I thought it was funny, if you didn't well tough. I am glad to have a nice vacation and a patch at the begining of it that so many were complaining about. If I want to be happy and tell lame jokes thats my right as a lame citizen.

so its barely off time

or are you one of those people who only find it acceptable to go with the earliest date in a time frame

First, they originally said late November. Then it became late nov/early December. Then it became what it is now... Or are you one of those ppl who think dec 15/16 somehow equals early December...

Finally... Haven't had something to do in this game for what feels like ages

actualy, in the original post about it, in the game timeline leading up til 2.0

it specificaly said "late november/early december"

so please stop mixing up your facts


alot of players kept saying early december, and thats the earliest they wanted it done, when yoshi came forth he said thats when he wanted it but it got delayed

but in the original announcement about timelines, it still fell within what it said

For me at least with servers going down 10pm until 2am, Ill manage to get a good night sleep and put patch on download while I go to work and come home to pure happiness that is FFXIV :D

Lol.. just because YOU claim something as "fact" doesn't make it true. The original timeline placed this patch at the end of November, there's my "fact" for ya. In the "Original timeline" it Did say late nov/Early Dec. so they are a day off from that timeline. Cry me a river.. dang man...

Come on man, it's only been two hours -- that's hardly enough time to determine whether he's run off or not...maybe he just has better things to do than sit on the FFXIV forums all day long :p

And though I'm happy the patch is coming out and not too bothered by the fact they're a little behind schedule, anyone trying to argue that December 15 counts as early December is really pushing it. I'm all for being supportive, but trying to bend mathematical truths in favor of putting SE in a more positive light just seems a little excessive. Sorry for bringing it up again, since it's really a stupid, pedantic argument, but it bothers me that people are being made fun of across the forums because they're not being sufficiently peppy and optimistic or something. Despite that little disagreement, patches will come out when they're ready to come out, and they shouldn't come out a day sooner, so hooray that this one is ready to come out!

YAY 1.20! Can hardly wait! :)

Prob won't get in early access of SWTOR till saturday, so this gives me something to do till then! :D

As I said, the original annoucement from Yoshida's letter placed patch 1.20 at the end of November. Later (which is what you referenced) it was updated to a 'more accurate' period of "late November/early December". I'm not going to take the time to find Yoshi's old letter that talked about it, mostly because I don't really care and this was never what I was attempting to argue anyway... Again, my only point was that this was more than just one day delayed, as some people like to claim. If people can't figure out what early/mid/late is in a month, then that's really their problem..

Doctor Mog.. Even what you showed places the patch's actual release beyond just "one" day late.. But I guess you never paid any attention to what I originally posted and just decided to chime in with your two cents..

Yeah, well people like Exni, who make false and unfactual claims and assumption, need to be held resposible for the trash they talk on the forums and spreading misinformation.

Interesting though, how some posters here will throw a tantrum if you cal someone out on what they said, misinformed, or fliat out made up. Yet they never complain about those who talk the trash, make the false assumptions, and make crap up and spread that misinformation under the pretense of fact.

Exni, whats your point to come in here and try to bash the date, and to work so hard to cry and bring uneccissary negativity about it to this thread? Seriously, whats the point? Especially if someone proves your wrong, and you continue to blow smoke in our butts and you claim there is another letter saying you were right, yet you "claim your not gonna lok for it". That sure reads to me as, I am gonna claim there is one, but since I really don't know, I will claim to be too cool to look for it.
