For those interested: SE has implemented temporary measures the address the DF issues. People should be getting into Duties and instances again, as they continue to monitor the situation.

Yep.

Hopefully it's fixed soon and/or we get an update as they appear to only be referring to the duty finder itself rather than solo instances.

What a surprise, every fucking one wants to do the main scenario at once.

can we please get a solution for the quest bug?

I'd like to hear from SE that they/you know the fix you've put in isn't helping with solo instances so folks can't progress in the MSQ.

Well, it's midnight now so gonna give up and go to sleep for now. Uncovered as much of the maps as possible, I think. Hopefully it might be better in the morning...

Would be nice if they could actually fix this. I've been fating for 4 hours in the first region, hitting 63.. did all sidequests and i tried to get into this MSQ for 45 minutes. FUN. Great Job SE. You want me to fategrind to 70 in the first zone or what?

No, they'd probably prefer if you (or some people anyway) would log out for a while so the load is reduced.

Realistically they should have had the foresight to expect this. SE isn't exactly new to MMOs, let alone FF14 player behaviors.

If they needed fewer people online at once, they have methods of ensuring that happens. It looks to me like the instance itself is bugged, given other instances are working.

When they fix raubahn ? people getting really frustated of that waiting if they don't do something for the msq bug

Pretty sure it isn't bugged, just congested. Was having the same issue for the SAM job quests but now that the area is cleared up some and not as many ppl clicking on the quest giver it works just fine. The issue is that EVERYONE trying to do the MSQ is funneled to that 1 instance and its right at the beginning of the MSQ so the congestion is extremely high.
