Unfortunately not

RDM is a dps main. That's your role, plain and simple. RDM's cure is pretty decent, about on par with Cure 1 as opposed to SMN's useless physick. Just because it cures for a decent amount doesn't make it an off cure. The only reason I can see you doing this is if because: a. you're gonna die if you don't dualcast a vercure onto yourself (and you don't do any dps from the floor) or b. you're in 4 man content and healer d/cs or dies in order to prevent a wipe or continue progressing through dungeon at a slower pace. Keep in mind, always, whether you are on SMN or RDM, your main role is to DPS. Your combat raises or (in RDM's case) cures are emergency stopgaps only.

I vercan't verunderstand your veraccent.

You want to be an RDM if you like to be a BLM with better mobility.

I use physick on my smn, but only when I need that paly shield and the healer can't read the party buff list. I also do the raise for the healers. Other then that, I've never tried to "off heal" on my smn. Is that this years new trend, or am I missing something else here, again?

I will not heal or off heal on RDM, nor give someone mp. Not my fault that SE removed ballad, either the blm can do it, because of their mp management or healers/any other roll need to learn, how to manage their own mp. It will be fun to see people assuming that the RDM is going to be the third healer or even worse, 2.x/3.x brd in a party. Not going to happen lol.

Ballad's not really gone, they just moved it to role abilities.

thats kinda true leveling sch or smn , let u play a dps and a full healer ... so u can enjoy both , Smn isnt able to heal , but Sch is a healer that can dps and the new skills look good ,

if u want to dps and heal , sch is the job , having a pet that heals, instant aoe heals ,excogitation is a heal that procs at 50% hp , so u can have more time dpsing, tank drops to 50% ? no problem! exco heal procs! and u dont have to do anything ;) , add fey union a heal regen from the pet too, and instant potent heals is awesome now that u dont have to stance dance... lustrate here and there while tossing some broil 2 (230 potency not bad at all) while dots are up.... and Stratagem to get 10% crit on bosses :3

and if u want to be a DPS , change to smn and there u go :D

The only time a SMN as of right now, and an RDM in the future will ever need to use resurrection is if the healer is dead in 4-man content or 1 of the healers is dead in 8/24 man content and the other healer looks really, really stressed. And using virus + eye for an eye on the MT is 1000% more beneficial than physic.
