I'd be willing to bet that something like this will indeed be added, but obviously we have no idea when. They put a lot of things into the game's files to use at a later date as they see fit.

It could be a new Rival wings mount that got in early, or even from the new PvP mode for 6.0 they keep teasing that somehow slipped into the files, it wouldn't be the first time something got into the files way ahead of being added.
Though I swear to Hydaelyn that if it's a feast reward, I'm going to the SE offices and... well I'm British so... I'm going to go there and object, very, very, sternly....

I hope they dont put the mount into Feast then RIP. Feast is boring :( If, pvp then pls RW, RW makes for me atleast more fun then Feast

They shall stuff as I have suffered, watching each reward going into the feast, but seriously I'm fine with PVP getting rewards and am active in frontlines and rival wings when ques allow but top 100 is so abusable I'm amazed they still haven't done anything about it.
I guess they kind of are, with the whole temp removing the mode when this new "mystery" mode in 6.0 comes out, with potentially retiring it all together if it does well, but then why they're still locking rewards behind it I'll never know.

Personally, I'd like to see a new "season" system where you accumulate wins to obtain rewards at the end of season. It'd definitely get more players involved, which could be good or bad depending on one's perspective.

I honestly think they've already got a system that works, the wolf coins or achievements get people in there, just make is "feast" coins/achievements if they want them in that part specifically.
I just hate how these things are permanently lost, I could deal if they were just unique recolours, but one of a kind only available here things? No thanks.

I really hope it's not a feast reward... I think pvp in this game can be fun, but feast has some of the best mounts in the game, locked away to less than 1% of the players never to be seen again. When was the last time you saw a feast mount in public? For me it was in a hunt train, way back in stormblood. That same person had 2 different ones, and those were the only 2 I ever saw in the wild, only that once.


I really hope they make those mounts rewards for the new pvp mode. I swear if the new pvp mode has points you accumulate the more you play, and you can exchange tons for 1 mount, the new pvp mode will be popular. It will be evergreen grindable content, those mounts were that good!

Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll just end up in the Gold Saucer for the Make It Rain Campaign.

Totally not just saying that because I have 8.2 million MGP with nothing left to buy.

the mount is most likely going to be attached to a questline of sorts, so either it's going to be the reward for completing the MSQ or maybe getting all exe mounts or something. I highly doubt it'll be added to the gold saucer

Did someone say a mount that a lot of people want and looks cool? I guess its going in the store.

Hmm, in fact it was added in 5.5, not 5.55.

But then, there are a handful of things like Ryne's outfit or a new Far eastern robes added in that database. Since we already hit last patch of the expansion, I'd say they would be mogstation items? Since those don't really need a patch to be released.

I mean, Feast rewards often rotate through cycles of 2 seasons that give armor and 2 seasons that give a mount (although there was an exception where there were like 4 seasons in a row of mounts). Most recently, the Feast rewards for Seasons 18 and 19 were armor, so I would be surprised if the reward for Season 20 was not a mount.

Do we know when the Shadowstaker / Shadowcleaver armor sets were first discovered via datamining? Was it the same timing that the Cruise Chaser mount was discovered?

They always made unique mounts for feast rewards, nothing related to raids.

I don't quite understand what you mean by "unique" mounts. The only way in which the Feast mounts are "unique" is that they are unobtainable from any other source. The models for the Feast mounts have always just been reused models from other content in the game. While there has been a trend towards Garlean enemies in more recent seasons, the Feast mounts started off with Hellhounds in Season 3~4, so it wouldn't be unprecedented if the Feast reward mounts saw something new instead of just another palette swap of an existing Garlean mount (and Feast players could honestly use something new at this point given how many times SE has reused that silly Magitek Conveyor asset).

Last addon Feast Season ended with a Light Party (Premade Group) Season, they might do the same now too, given their predictability with content. PvE bois already compained a lot about that chair from that scientist, because it was a mainstory dungeon, they got so mad at that lol. But hey, last time community got mad at SE for giving Feast some minions for top10 players, they have given in too, might happen again

I think it might be this year's version of last year's chocobo carriage mount release. If so, then I'd expect to see it up on mogstation in about a month.

You know CC will be a $42+ mogstation 8-player mount premium, just like the fanfest whale. Gotta pay for the new servers somehow.

Dont think they would have Cruise Chaser as mount since its allready a mount insider Rival Wings, it would confuse players.

cruise chaser as a mount, will come when SE will add Mount to Ultimates reward :p

Ucob = bahamut (Or Phoenix) mount
Tea = Cruise Chaser (or Alexander)
Uwu = Ifrit (Or Ultima Weapon)

(can be traded for 99 ucob/tea/uwu tokens) xD

It just shouldn't be mogstation, feel like too many cool mounts end up there recently. And it is more connected to the story than a panda or fat cat mount.

Feast Mount is fine, but Idk why it always has to be robots after hellhounds.

I don't see how "Mogstation so everyone can enjoy it" is worse than "Feast so botters only can get it."

If it has to be a reward, I'd rather it be anything but PvP.

I pay a sub to play the game and sometimes even for retainers. I don't wanna pay for mounts that cost the same as new retail games. Some items in the mogstation are more expensive than real physical counterparts lmao, I think it is really bad direction for video games

You're not really going to "spot" botters. They play just like anyone else in the game. It's just that they aren't actually pressing their buttons themselves.
