You're on an EU server. It's not really something you'd understand unless you played a lalafell on an NA server.

Like I've said before, I play on an EU server because it's nowhere near as bad as on NA servers. Lighthearted jokes, that's all it is for the EU community and nothing anywhere near the hatemongering I've seen on what NA servers I've been to.

Threads like these are a painful reminder that I can't ever be accepted as a Lalafell. Lemme explain:

I first started as a female Lala. I was always on my own when I leveled up to 50 during 2.0. I thought I was a fine and dandy Bard. When I eventually got into an FC for the harder content, I changed to a Fem Elezen for quite some time because maybe I needed a bit more DPS when Titan HM was a thing (Boy was I wrong.). After many fantasias, trying the different races out and at the request of some friends, I still yearned to go back to being a lala, even to this time of posting. Throughout this, I had SOs (not all at once, calm down.) who would say they'd outright disown me if I changed to a lala. A lot had to do with how they don't want to be seen as a pedophile by their peers. Of course, I gave in and just change for their sakes.

Now I know what you're thinking, it's my game and my money, so I get to do what I want, and how it's a game, I shouldn't really get worked up about it.

And I did. I think twice I tried to go back.

All my supposed friends, who I took the time and effort to build trust with, ran from me. Wouldn't want to associate with me whatsoever. I get called potato, midget, stepping stool, all the works. I don't get invited for harder content anymore. It really does suck.

So at the time of this post, I'm a generic miqo'te. I'm a lala at heart, but I really, really despise the lore for making them they are now.
