You don't trust women to make clothes you'll look hot in?

On a scale of 1-10, how mad will everyone be when they realize we're not actually getting the female bunny outfit on males, but a male version of the bunny outfit that'll probably just look like a recolored Tux?
Personally I still find it hilarious that people think clothes are inherently gendered in this the year 2017. "Oh no, they wore their fabric strips in ONE TUBE instead of TWO TUBES as intended by GOD HIMSELF! WILL NOBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN??!?!?!?!?!"
Seriously. Y'all need to step back and look at your priorities if specifically gendering clothing makes you this het up. Unless you want to go over to Scotland and tell all the lads over there to stop wearing kilts because trousers are what men were made to wear...?
I just want to look like a Chippendales dancer so I can stop glamouring tuxedos and the butler outfit.
Maybe we didn't complain enough over the reskinned seasonal outfits we kept getting for a while :s
But a lot of people really just want the ears, so it would still be a positive step. Given how long it's taking, though, I'm looking forward to a masculine-yet-sexy look appropriate to the game's aesthetic. They'd be nuts to build it up this much only to give us a jet black coatee with a tie or something.
Right?
And I find it hilarious you think they are not...
What planet are you living on?
Seriously dude wake up to reality...
If it was real people would actually be doing that... but guess what? Its not happening. Even in game.
EDIT: Seriously you really think they're fooling people with this... you're not...
clothes are not gendered. Society assigns gender to clothes.
If one particular outfit was clearly "more suited" for men than women, we'd see a trend of people gendering things the same way across all societies, but we don't. Just like some societies don't consider exposed breasts as nudity, because they assign no sexual value to them.
Besides, I know plenty of men who wear skirts. They're a nice, cool option in summer when it's hot as all hell out there. I honestly just... don't understand why people would find that offensive. It's a skirt?
Are you just jealous because you know your character couldn't pull off the fishnets on the fem buny outfit?
why is this even a thing?...creepy
Like this?

Yeah totally... because everyone runs around like that right and just loves to right?
That's what they secretly desire in your little world right?
Again... what planet do you live on?
Do you really think you're fooling anyone with that BS?
Seriously?
Wow... just wow...
I'm sort of expecting the outfit to look something like these.
I'd be disappointed if that's what we got, to be honest :/
Yeah but there's something called Dev time... and its a lot of effort to make a ton of different model pieces for each race just to cater to someone who is obviously not in touch with reality, so they can live their little sexual fetish.
And making a playboy bunny outfit for men to cross dress in when no one really wants or will really wear anything of that sort is a joke.
Contrary to some of these people who apparently are living in their own little world...
People come here because they're fans of Final Fantasy games... or even RPGers... they're not here because they're into someone else's social justice warriorism... or their imaginary fetishistic version of Final Fantasy.
Hell, I don't think he even knows that devs are using their time to make them (they already have the design for Roegadyn and Hyurs finalised).
I think most people would shut up about this if they just unlocked the ears for men. Dudes can wear dozens of different flowers, the tiny little lady's day hat, circlets, the cait sith ears, succubus horns, ribbons, those weird Carnivale-esque pvp sets, the flowery earrings that titan drops, a native american headdress that did cause controversy and was kept anyways, and moogle heads but the line was drawn at bunny ears for dudes for some reason and that's really all that annoys a lot of guys I've talked to about this.
Naw cute pink fluffy and frilly stuff is all the rage with the female characters, most of which are actual girls not the men.
Walk down the street any any time of day where you can find glamors and that's what you do see. And not ONLY during that convenient moment where someone is trolling to push an agenda... its actually real, not fake as hell. That or the princess or noblewoman look. Likely how some guys hook their girlfriends on the game.
I cannot deny any of that. That is obviously popular for girls. I would be lying if I said otherwise.
But as to the men...
No you do not see any of that.
You see some suits and a lot of spiky or shiny armor, some shades for the cool look, some noble looking stuff, maybe bare chested or subligar-ish or the actual robes for mages like the ones you get in the level 50somethings levels, but that the other stuff... no, its almost non existent, even though available. Outside the occasional troll who only wears it briefly and then swaps to something else once his attention span is gone (obviously fake as hell).
I'm getting such a Tremendously Bigly Fake News™ vibe from this guy.
Yeah I like... totally believe you guys... not my own eyes and stuff right?
That's the purpose right? Make me believe the fantasy world you're living in that doesn't meet any reality?
But don't worry... I'm sure the Devs know too, because you know... they probably walk around in the world too and see what's really going on there.
The girliest girl I know in this game is most definitely a guy in real life (and one of my best friends in the world). Making assumptions can be very awkward, especially about vague ideas of gender norms based on your own personal experience alone.
i bring 'em back from the dead. the now living legend
i smell homophobia
Holy necro thread batman
Any concern about keeping children "pure" is long shot out the window throughout the world. All this anti-crossdressing and anti-whatever is primarily seeded in older generations. It's something that just needs to be let go.
I have heard kids as young as age 6 dropping f-bombs, making sex jokes, and I think I even spotted one with drugs a few weeks ago.
If you dislike crossdressing then just don't do it. Saying it shouldn't be an option because it offends you is overstepping the acceptable social boundaries.
I myself am not into crossdressing, but I have nothing against the people who like it or the idea itself. In some instances I think it can actually be pretty funny or clever.
To be honest... The community has been waiting patiently for this addition for a while now...
