I think they need to re-think their scaling for Performance score. Everything above 9k is "Extremely High" LOL. There are scores from 9k to 20k from this post which are all just "Extremely High."

9k - 11k = Extremely Ultra High
11k - 14k = Extremely Super Ultra High
14k - 18k = Extremely Super Ultra Velociraptor High
18k+ = Extremely You Broke the Benchmark High

The 3770k is likely overclocked, while yours cannot be. CPU clock speed on i7's and i5's effects framerate heavily in highly populated areas or when lots of effects are on screen.

Thats why my 4770k shows a higher benchmark with a gtx980ti than some people with 6700ks and gtx1070/80s, if they didn't overclock.

Looks like I am good to go. Which makes me happy cause a few days ago my pc was running at 97c and barely able to do 20 fps in game.

About a 9ish fps average lower than what I currently get so no complaints really. My computer HATES those splash bubbles for half a second though for reasons unknown.

Works for me, pretty sure only upgrade that I need if I wanna push this higher is the card as I am running a GTX750, plus the only thing I need to upgrade to be VR ready too.

What kind of graphics settings does the benchmark use? Default, high, low? I also have it set to not show spell effects but my own, so even if I get lower score would I still be okay to run it?

I set mine to custom as I adjust a mix of low and high graphics since certain High graphics does not affect the frame process as much as certain ones.

My score was 9944 on whatever the default settings of the benchmark are. Hopefully that's good enough, though I might look into a different GPU if possible.

DX11 at 720p, Standard (laptop)

Intel i7 2670QM, 2.2-3.2GHz, 8gb RAM, Nvidia GT520MX 1Gb.

I play using DX9, and the benchmark doesn't have the DX9 version, despite it is confirmed will be a DX9 client.

So in the end. I have exactly the same score as Heavensward on DX11.

Damn, I'm fucked if not DX9.

That is fine because the standard is 2000 points with the expect max setting at 5000 points.

Anything higher means your computer is far too over the top beyond expected maximum requirments.

Well the load times are still painfully long but I'm surprised by the score. I vividly remember FF14 being almost unplayable on my PC several years ago which is why I moved to PS3/PS4. They must have improved optimization since the end of ARR.

DX11 is recommended (64bit Required for DX11), but DX9 is available as well (32b/64b versions listed). Just seems that its optimized for DX11

I think I need to replace my video card gtx 970 is showing its age. Which is why I get a lower score. Probably need to get a 1080 ti, or wait till the next gen of graphics cards comes out.
