But did you read my reasoning for wanting them more customizable? am I not entitled to an opinion without the usual suspects coming in and shooting down everything? Yall ruin the forum because no type of discussion can take place without it being - comaplaining, trolling, telling you to quit. These are some of the worst forums on the internet
i personally feel their body isnt separate enough from their heads and their arms are disturbingly skrawny from the rest of their body.
i essentially thought the FFXI moogle was the perfect epitome of what a moogle should look like in all physical aspects.
i personally like the ones they used, i always like the pudgy round ones in all the series. the ff12 ones though they look cool were probably worse looking ones in my opinion.

I think it's time to bring back the waving gif. So mesmerizing...
okay, my ignore list works too... bye idiot
FFXII moogles are really ugly. They only fit into their own Ivalice world. I'm glad they're not in Eorzea. There's no need for moogle overhaul in xiv.
xiv moogles are cool for this game. Ivalice moogles are cool for those games because they are a humanoid race. I like either but for their respective games, the choice was fine.
thats okay bird, atleast the ugly signature is gone my work is done
my work has been successful.
Okay two people on ignore, and I guess a total topic derail. Everyone thank PrettyPrincess the 45 year old virgin in his mothers basement
yay~ .
Google Chrome + AdBlock = only seeing huge signatures once.
I like the moogles the way they are in XIV.
yawn. what a trite insult. sounds about as creative as reintroducing ffxii rabbits to ffxiv.
I agree the IX and XIV moogles rule. XIII's moogle looks like a baby that's having a deathly allergic reaction with that swollen face and whoever thought the pom pom should be replaced by a Sims cursor should be whipped in public!
FFXIV Moogle model is bawse. Totally fits in with the more of Eorzea/FF on a whole. Their design provides a nice contrast to the "gritty," "realistic" style that doesn't feel completely out of place, as some posters would suggest. The art dept. could easily add more variety in fur length or other features to distinguish one monitor from the next. Those rat-looking versions from other iterations of FF? (No thanks.)
XIV moogles are fine as is. XIII-2 on the other hand could use a hammer to the face.
I love the moogles in this game. So fluffy. So very fluffy. @_@;
Is it just me or do the moogles glow/shine a little in this game? They're heavenly moogles lol XD
Perhaps FFXIV is adapting to FF type-0 moogles? I'll like more moogles like these in FFXIV
http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__...-0-Moogles.jpg
Final Fantasy Type-0 knows about moogles
in the picture you see;
Mog
Knight
Dragoon
Red Mage
Geomancer
Monk
Professor
Time Mage
White Mage
Thief
Ninja
Scholar
Blue Mage
The current moogle design is not a new one, it's the old one, and it's perfect.
<3 the XIV moogles. They're so fluffy I'm gonna die >:o Also- I still think we need Rabites in this game (>.>;
Rabites are from the wrong game, though I don't mind - Just don't make me farm them for $$$.
Save the Snurbles!
As a self-proclaimed Moogle wildlife activist, I approve this mes... er, thread.
My super fudge mint chocolate chippity whip cream dream (with a cherry pom pom on top) of having them appear as a playable race with the proportions of Akihiko Yoshida's FF12 models was crushed when I saw those cute little furballs kupo'ing about at my first glimpse of them in Grid's intro. I would have been one lean mean armored shield wielding moogle machine if that were the case.
But alas, it is not. I accept that now and have since proposed many ideas about how to go about getting our Moogle friends a shinier role in XIV. As much as I do adore them looking as they currently do, they just seem so useless (yes lore-wise too). Thus, if we can't have them as playable characters I've settled for a Moogle Companion suggestion which--I believe--could hope to "kupofy" many aspects of battle, crafting, gathering, scouting new areas, auto-functions, UI features, and just plain hanging around with them.
Suggestions have been proposed via my sig link below. ;) Check it out and comment...

...and for kicks I'll go ahead and squeeze in my older suggestion thread I made a while back too, since it's related to super awesome playable Moogle race 2.0 lore implementation ideas.

Nothing against the designers...FFXIV Moogles look like squinty hamsters.
It's interesting to see them go from an intelligent humanized form from one Final Fantasy to a more animal in another.
Alas, I always wanted to play as a Moogle. Every time there's a pudgy character build in games I try to make it sorta look like a Moogle. You'd think SE would accommodate fans and make a playable Moogle race.
I always thought when they made the smallest class in FF11 and FF14 they were verging on a psuedo half human half Moogle type. I felt almost Mooglelike in FF11. I feel just a small child with a beard in FF14 LOL.
Moogles probably won't make it to a playable race only for the fact that the tactical size advantage with targeting and the like would create an unfair advantage during things like PvP.
I love the Moogles in XIV ^^
