Who is huddling together? You sound incredibly defensive right now. You didn't have the decency to act like a normal person in a general forum, instead you decided to act out as an rp character. Right now, your post reads to me as "People don't agree or like my idea, they must be ill minded people". Sure, some of us have come off as harsh at times, but maybe we decided not to show you the real us? After all, you won't do us the same courtesy.

Edit: As for the bashing on your idea, who exactly is bashing on it? People are simply saying gear should keep gender locks. Something that goes against your opinion is not bashing.

As for the rp thing again. No, you're an Au Ra. Esper is not a race here, and being a spawn of Bahamut (despite the title) is lore breaking, impossible.

Gilgamesh is the 'sister server' to Balmung. Or at least it used to be in the early days. A lot of people went there who wanted to get on Balmung but couldn't. First let me say that you type well for someone who is dyslexic; very few grammatical or spelling errors. I genuinely mean that, learning disabilities are a PitA. But, as you said that you are definitely an English speaker then there are a few things I want to say. I know that constructive criticism might be ‘appalling to hear’ as I have no intention of sugar coating things, but you should know that really am trying to help you.

I assumed you were either using a thesaurus or something like google translate because while many of the words that were peppered throughout your posts were technically synonyms of or simply similar to other, more common words that would have made perfect sense the context that you used them, they themselves were completely wrong when used in the same place.

You are extensively using a thesaurus to look up more impressive-sounding versions of commonplace words but are also, like with a translator books, not grasping the subtle differences in usage. You, again, stated that this wasn’t the case.

You are aware enough of the words to recognize them or know of their existence, but your grasp of them is too loose and you are not familiar enough with their usage to be able to correctly put them into context. This is the only situation that makes any sense to me at this point and, if it is the case, then the good news is that you are half way there. Knowing bigger, less commonly used words is half the battle; you just need to work on understanding them better, especially their subtle differences to everyday words. With a bit of practice you should be able to use them properly.

I know this is a big post to shift through, but I hope you did as I was genuinely trying to help you improve your writing. That being said, I should add that ‘purple prose’ has nothing to do with text or emotes. It is a writer’s term for a style of writing that is overly flowery and showy to the point where it adds nothing to the piece of writing except making it harder to read and understand.

This is true, and even in that situation the females are given preferential access to Aymeric's hair style while male characters cannot use Minfilia's - illogical pricing structure or otherwise.

I do find it disappointing that many players of female characters only care about the problem when it's something they want (and I'm honestly surprised that it's been Aymeric's coat in so many threads, of all things)... but at this point in the conversation I'm not even sure what's being argued any more. The RP approach was cute and novel, though I agree the wording made it hard to understand the point being made. So I'll just say I'm sorry that you had a shock, Kotei, and if you could join us in requesting less genderlocked gear (especially without equivalents) now you understand that it's an issue I think everyone stands to benefit in the long term. The reason they're locking these NPC costumes in the first place is an attempt to atone for treating those with male characters worse historically. We need to fix this issue so everyone gets more clothes.

Edit: The original Bahamut was consorted to Tiamat and had no connection, and no possible means of 'breeding' with Hydealyn, being asexual and only reproducing dragons. Primal likewise had no connection to Hydaelyn, save for destroying her land. If she was somehow born from his aether left behind, she would be created of Bahamut himself, and therefore be part Primal and drain the land of aether. Everyone would be killing her.

As a role-player myself? Being a 'role-player' doesn't give anybody special privileges to avoid them being called out if they post something controversial or difficult to understand. I'm surprised that Lucia's gear and hair is not available. It could have been a female alternative(kinda of?) to Aymeric's, just as long as her hair would have been unisex

The NPC costumes are for those who want to look like a famous NPC

rule 1 for dressing up like a famous NPC: be on the same gender (or the whole point to look like the NPC is nill)
