No matter what I do I'm constantly getting the same error code I'm just going to delete the game
welp!
Been trying for a solid 2 hours.
Tried changing DNS for both LAN cable and wifi to
8888 / 8844
4333 / 4332
209.244.0.3 / 208.244.0.4
None worked.
So I finally used my tablet (with THE MOST) horrible internet speed (Like 1mb down and 63kb up) and it's downloading the updater 2017.4.13... at the most grueling pace. BUT ITS WORKING.
So if any of you have mobile hotspots.. try that. :X
This is so crazy we have to do all this stupid crap and do Final Fantasy XIV job for them when all they have to do is provide a steady Speedline as much money as we're paying them they should be able to afford a better Network is PS4 users are going to have nine ways from Sunday of trouble trying to download storms blood
Still nothing even after deleting the game resetting all my DNS servers making sure all of my ports were open on my router even changing to a VPN still nothing now it won't update at all
2 and a half hours later still nothing and i even tried the hotspot thing to no success
I'm experiencing the same issue. If SE would make some sort of comment, it would be appreciated.
Getting same issue. Why is SE not resolving this issue or even acknowledging it? It's been hours...
I feel you I don't know what those people were talking about on how they said they got their stuff to work about changing the DNS servers because that was a bald-faced lie I have change the DNS servers I have even deleted my game reinstalled it recheck on my ports on my router the game won't even update no matter what I do
I'm going to call them once their office opens
You know this kind of like a Zen riddle they want you to pay for the game to play it but they don't want to do nothing to help you play it but yet if you don't play it they will delete all of your FC stuff and give somebody else your FC if you don't login and we're paying $15 a month
Turned phone into hotspot and resolved issue for my ps4.
same they need to fix this I refuse to mess with my net settings or reinstall the game cause they screw up I sooner quit then do some crap run around cause they mess up
I tried changing my DNS, and using a phone hotspot. Neither is working, and i'm not uninstalling ffxiv. I'm beginning to believe there's truly no for sure "fix" to this issue, because what might work for one person might not work for another. I just hope they fix this? No other game i have on ps4 has this issue, i just want to play at this point :^/

The continuous need to log back into ff14 and still getting this error code is annoying...
Just a question, is SE seriously not going to try to fix this version check? Slowest response time I've ever seen.

the original post said to reset PS4 and try to launch but I just launched and it went through. Hope this helps all that still can't get on through the PS4

tried all and still nothing hope a patch rolls out or something for the fix because i dont want to reinstall once again

Primary is 195.46.39.39
Secondary is 195.46.39.40
Hope that will help a little.

This is twice now I've gone through this. Both times maintenance was completed "early". I think Square Enix needs to take extra time to ensure PS4 players stop having this issue. Last time I tried everything before reinstalling the game and the reinstall is when it worked, but I went through some bumps along the way then (probably due to my internet, but still...).
There better not be a third time Square Enix. Your PS4 playerbase is just as important as your PC one so stop ignoring us.

I tried the setting change suggestions in the first page of this thread, using the DNS for Level3 worked. I live in North America and use Suddenlink and use a wired connection so for those that also do all this it is worth trying. I do sympathize with those that it isn't working for though.

It is not just PS4...I have this problem on my Mac.
I tried these solutions but they didn't work... The game was working just fine before maintenance.. Hope they fix it soon..
