This post crack me up. You say you predict it right? $5 a month? NOT! Read the fine print better. It said $5.99, that is $6.00 and only apply if you pay for 90 Days which give you discount. Add on top of that $3 for Character slot make it $9.00. You also NEED a character slot to play the game. You cannot play the game with no Character slot, so that $3 is required! Where is the $5 you spoke of? It is none existence. This thread is FAIL.

To me it just feels deceptive to have it the way it is right now but that's just me. But honestly I did look at it say, wow 29.94 that's a nice deal, then the fine print says no wait you have to do 3 times 6 to get the actual amount after you add it to that fee to get the actual amount lol.

^ This. Once again, SE makes something that should be simple nothing but a convoluted mess. Some think they're getting a bigger discount than they really are, others look at the character fee and it's off-putting. They should have bundled the first character in with the fee, and stated that additional characters would cost $3 each.

When you can finally look at the chart in the above simplified form, you can clearly see that all we got was a $3 discount.

To get back to Rentahamster's point, I don't think it's enough to keep people who were on the fence. I truly think they needed to go 50%.
