I'm a mere student atm - Economics and IT.

I would've preferred something different, but with my endowment no dice.

I'm a research geneticist that mainly does bioinformatics types of projects (computer analysis instead of "wet lab"). Currently I have two jobs in that field (one full time, one part time at home), so I really don't have as much time for miscellaneous grinding as I'd like. :(

System's Analyst/Build Programmer in HIT (Health Information Technology) for a Research Hospital group.

I'm pretty much jacked into a computer most my waking hours.

Event Coordinator at a local hotel, aka head Houseman and Head Server. Setting up for Banquet events (Weddings, parties and such) from tables and chair placement to place settings, and meetings.

Currently studying German studies + English studies but hoping to switch to English studies + general linguistics in half a year. Maybe I can find a part time job in childcare because I've worked with kids before and it's really fun (if exhausting).

Me? I'm a full time graduate student at SCAD earning my Masters Degree in Game Design. Also, I take care of my little 1yr old girl, making sure she understands the importance of avoiding AoEs.

Currently a temp in retail hoping for that perma contract soon >_<

I know them feels. Exactly why I did a PhD :p I'm a neuroscientist turned bioinformatician, working as a Parkinson's disease researcher. The best thing about science is how mobile it is. It allowed me to move back to Japan ^.^

Have you always been dry lab? I used to be wet lab but now I'm purely computational and the switch has been pretty rough XD

I'm partly surprised that there are a lot of us here in the medical field or an allied one. Most people falsely assume we (especially doctors like me) don't really have time to dedicate to MMOs.

I'm retired now (at 37) but I'm a Geologist & Designer - quite an unusual combination.

Depends on where they work. My uncle is a RN, grandmother was a RN, and my mother is a nurse's aid. They all work/worked crazy hours.

I'm a lowly cashier at a high-end rich people store. You'd be surprised at how pleasant a lot of rich people are if you're a decent person. Also rich old people. Love them so much. If we were aloud to take tips I'd probably be diabetic from all the junk food half of them want to tip me with.

Anyway, I work for Support.com which basically we work for Comcast or at least my branch, may be other parts for other companies but I never dug into it. Right now I basically am working on a project with Comcast which is currently in testing, so don't think I can go into that aspect. Right before this I was a tech support for Xfinity Home Security.

Full-time college student for "Art New Media" or CG dev/Game Design. IHSS Provider for a family member, and will become a part time tutor at my college for the Intro to 3D Model class next semester.

I'm the warrior of light.

Manager of a multi-carrier wireless kiosk.

Professionally: maintenance and training at an amusement park, while also being a full time student working on a degree in business admin/management.

Hobbies/Uncertified Specialties: Psych eval, counseling, tutoring, QC/PI advising, and informal behavior psychosocial researcher (aka that guy who likes to metaphorically poke into other people's brains).

Full time eligibility worker and assistant Tae Kwon Do instructor as well as creating a web comic. Also a dedicated father/family man.

I stay busy, and drink absurd amounts of caffeine.

Prime minister.

I work as tech support in a small CAD software development company, but I also do art on the side. I would like to go full time with my art, because it's what I enjoy the most. Hopefully I can do that soon.

I write, and perform music. I also invest in cosplay and makeup artistry.
