That official response was a troll post, it has to be. I have never once had any time during an actual battle to hit R1+D-pad to switch to my bar of 'dumb Feast chat commands' and pick one out, then switch back to my real bars and continue playing. Everyone on my team would be dead by then. All anyone says is hello and good game, and even choosing those while trying to prepare buffs is unnecessarily stressful. Once I flubbed my 'good game' because the results screen locks out the R1+D-pad command (a rant for another time) and I accidentally left without 'speaking', which made me feel like a colossal jerk. It's clunky. It sucks. I hate it.
I'm a filthy casual since I don't have time to git gud, and this chat lock has killed PUG Feast for me dead. LP with voice chat is now the only way I can enjoy it. If I wanted to play competitively with a bunch of silent robots I'd play a different game; this is meant to be an MMO.

Since there is a button for retreat we need a button for "push forward" all attack doesn't say much. We also need a button for "regroup" "gather" "their player disconnected"

Put chat back, got it? there is no reason to take out chat to begin with, please understand PvE is more toxic then pvp, the chat removal is unwanted, please send this message to everyone not hearing it. Why is this not being heard?

Given that community reps have clarified that the dev team wants to make "adjustments" to the system rather than acknowledge that it doesn't work and roll it back, I say again that we need to get our point across by literally bringing Feast participation to a halt. Complete and full stop. SE has admitted they look at numbers on their end. If they see Season 4 has a participation of 0% (at best we know those who want to cheat or wintrade will do so, but would be the ONLY people doing so if everyone stopped), that would be something they can't ignore. And IF they ignore it, that effectively speaks of their dedication to actually trying to make it a success.
Boycott Season 4 of the Feast.
I just want something that says "kill the healer" because stopping the healer and whatever the other one is indicate i alone want to take on the healer when i don't, i want people to kill the healer
If they're not considering removing the chat!, something like "Attack <Target.Role>" is better, instead of having 4 different macros assigned for each general role.
Basically better having a dynamic macro, you can target someone and use only 1 macro for attacking, and it will just print out "Attack Healer" if they are a healer, or "Attack Ranged" if they are a ranged dps.
Same with "Stopping <Target.Role>".
Same with "Pick up Medals, <Target.Role>"
making the # of pvp macros as minimum as possible, and usable as possible.
and also "Purify me" macro, regardless if I have purify or not, especially as a healer.
I'd like to be purified of "sleep" by other party members, instead of using my purify.
This helps me save my purify for stun, or if I'm being focused.
Why don't we have one for "You are out of my line of sight!"
If I had any more buttons I'd have no abilities for PvP, just chat stuff.
