Will we be getting CE Physical Edition on the Australian Square-Enix Shop.
Will we be getting CE Physical Edition on the Australian Square-Enix Shop.
Why is the cloth map of Eorzea being included in the CE when it was originally included in the 1.0 CE? Can those whose 1.0 CE had the map get something else instead? I thought CE were meant to be exclusive?
Hi.
I own both ARR and Heavensward physical edition on PS4.
Which means whenever I want to play another game, I need to swap disc.
I would like to get rid of this by pre-ordering a digital copy of Stormblood.
Would that work ? Or would I still need my heavensward disc in the console?
I'd rather swap out the statue for a Bomb pillow.

Better yet, what about the FFXIV boxer shorts, or Garlean-issued boxer shorts?

What about Yda's shorts?

So from what I'm getting at with the complete collectors edition, I get ARR, HW, and SB at 99 dollars, now does that include the physical items as well? Or is it only the digital? This could be a good way to gift the game to friends if everything is included.
Will you have more than you had with FFXV?
I dont like to see it within the first 5 Minutes "sold out"
Sure, it is a good thing to allow pre orders and early sells, but still... there is the bad taste of "i am too late"...
I'm curious as well, I see pic where is says "(NA) The Stormblood Collector's Edition is only available on the Square Enix Online Store.", but what about EU?
Just wondering since when I paid visit to city, shop employee told me that I could get physical Collector's Edition from them.
.
.
Lowest I can find is $40 which -includes- HW. Is there no standalone upgrade? I don't want Complete, standard or Collector's.
What, where and when can we expect a simple digital upgrade from heavensward to stormblood?
If I understand this correctly, the ONLY way to get the Amano art for Stormblood is to purchase the 199.99 edition in NA?
If so, unfortunate.
Will the digital collector's edition and Stormblood pre-order bonus be available to pre-order at Amazon?
Are Square-Enix and Steam going to collectively opt to set prices almost 50% above the conversion rate in certain countries that can't afford it? *cough* Brazil *cough*
I find it specially funny that when this issue escalates at Steam, they say it's your fault. So go ahead and say it is their fault, instead of at least asking nicely.
The outcry last time was horrendous. If they did it again this time at this much higher price point the fallout will be even worse. I honestly don't see why the Stormblood physical CE is even any more expensive than the Heavensward one. There seems to be about the same amount of physical content... SE seems to be really pushing their luck with their pricing lately.
Why isn't the conversion to JPY<->USD or JPY<-> other currencies accurate?
I would like to buy the physical CE, but that price is way too high. I'll just get the digital version of it this time. I got the 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 CE physical copies, but the 4.0 is WAY too expensive. I could buy another New 3DS for that price, and I had just ordered the Switch...
Standard edition is the stand alone "upgrade" from HW to SB
Standard edition = Stormblood expansion only (if you already have base (ARR) and heavensward)
Collector's edition = same as standard edition but with extra stuff
Complete edition = base game (ARR), heavensward, and stormblood bundled together.
The expansion by it self is $40
When will you be releasing information regarding the availability of the Physical Collector's Edition to those in New Zealand & Australia?
When can we Preorder Stormblood PS4 on the Europe Playstation Store? Im kínda worried because the problems we had with havensward preorder and the PSN store.!
here is my question i have an EU account but live in na. Will i still be able to pre order the Digital edition EU on the SE EU store?
When is the benchmark being released?
I can't remember if this was for the release of Heavensward or not, but will the pre-order be taken out immediately from an account when ordered, or will it be taken out before the expansion is released. I swear the money didn't get taken last time until a week before launch or something like that.
You can already remove that restriction, although it requires a pretty large download. (I've done it myself, and for the same reason. I got annoyed with having to switch disks back and forth when switching between games.)
If you remove the disc and delete the game from your PS4 hard drive, and then go to your library and select to re-download it from the PlayStation Store (where you already have it licenced, so there's no fee involved), you can download the full game in the version that does not require the disc to be in the drive.
Is there a chance SE can sell a package for users on multiple platforms? Say, buy the CE for PC and get the access code for PS4 for an additional $20.
Greetings,
We'd like to take this opportunity to answer a few questions raised by our European players, and also clarify the pricing for FFXIV Stormblood on the European Square Enix Online Store.
On the European Square Enix Online Store, the physical collector’s edition will be either £179.99 or €199.99 depending on your country of residence. We have added the European prices to this thread.
The physical collector’s edition of Stormblood is exclusive to the Square Enix Online Store in Europe too.
For PAL territories, pre-orders on the PlayStation Store will commence on Tuesday, 24 January 2017.
We cannot give any specific information at this stage, but please rest assured that we are working on making the physical Collector’s Edition for both PC and PS4 available in Australia and New Zealand. We will follow up with further details as soon as we are able.
Will there be a limited amount of physical Collector's Edition copies of the game? I've always loved all the art books and whatnot but often times by the time I get home from work the physical CE version has 'sold out'.
Is there any possibility of getting another Collector's Edition version without the statue? All the items in the CE look great but the statue hikes up the price to $200. I'd love to have another version of the Collector's Edition for even $100 without the statue and everything else that comes with it.
Even Final Fantasy XV had multiple versions of their Physical CE that didn't include the Play Arts Kai Noctis that were more reasonably priced.
Several Questions:
1) I'm not sure if anyone has asked this, but I know when you pre-order Stormblood, Heavensward comes with it.
Is there going to be an option to buy just Stormblood expansion for those that already have access/bought Heavensward?
I believe Stormblood's price is $40 because it includes both expansions.
I already have access to Heavensward, so I feel like if I buy Stormblood, it's a "waste" of both money and HW access.
On top of that, I already play on 2 platforms, and with Stormblood price equaling the price of 2 expansions, I don't think I have the money or the will to buy 2 "more" access to Heavensward when it's unnecessary...
2) For "Early Access" to Stormblood, would buying a copy via NA Amazon/NA Playstation Store count? Would we still get the code for early access?
I saw in the screenshot that if you buy a copy via JP Playstation Store, it'll automatically be added to your account, but is that also true for NA people?
3) This is my first time pre-ordering an expansion so sorry if this is a stupid question.
I'm assuming you'll get the Red Mage Minion and Ala Mhigan Earring when you pre-order, regardless of where you pre-order it?
Thank you,
$40 is the price for Stormblood. But apparently Stormblood's storyline is going to require going through the Heavensward storyline, so they include Heavensward for free to anyone who buys SB. You aren't paying for HW again, you're just not in a position to need that freebie added in.
If they hadn't included it that way, they'd have players with only ARR + SB and no way to access half the content they'd purchased. (Their other alternative would have been to have the HW and SB storylines run in parallel, so either one could follow the ARR story, and could be played in either order, but the devs seem to prefer a continuous narrative.)
