With both ARR and HW, any pre-order came with early access. I expect SB will be the same.

Before it was any pre-order, also they would usually be pretty specific in their titling if it was like collection pre-order only. So I'd say any order before release = pre-order, which is pretty standard too.

Edit: Thanks to Bayohne confirming, even if you pre-order the complete edition you will NOT receive pre-order bonuses. Must be the storm blood specific orders (even though complete includes stormblood). That's sort of what it said, but thought it might mean something else since it does have stormblood in it, but nope - exactly as it reads is what it means lol.

I like a lot of those collector's edition items, but I have no connection or desire for that figurine that probably tacked $80-100 onto the price tag.

I originally assumed that buying the physical CE was a given, personally; between the sheer number of hours of entertainment and my discounted sub, I don't mind indulging a little on the expansions, but if it's really $200...

I love this game, but, not THAT much. I'll probably settle for the digital CE this time around...

At least for 2014 that $20 got you everything. With 3 minions this time around they were really pushing for minion collectors to shell out $90.
And the NA Fanfest tickets went up from $120 to $135, which I'll give SE a hall pass on that one because the Paris was a larger venue than the Rio (doesn't necessarily mean it cost more but who really knows?). I just wish they'd tossed out some freebie T-shirts this time. 2014 had 2 free T-shirts that everyone could get, which I still wear regularly because I love them.

So SB CE is $200 so even if you minus the price of the digital CE of $60 off from the $200 you still paying more for the extra items ($140) then the entire HW CE was ($130)

You need a license of ARR, HW and presumably SB for every platform. However, standard versions are enough.

For the moment, if you log on your PC, you will not be able to access any area in HW or earn xp past lv. 50. You cannot log in either if your character is in a HW zone.

Thanks, that was my suspicion. I will look out for a special offer on HW for my PC in case I want to play it on that.

Depends what's in the box. It's not unusual for a good resin figure to start at $99 and go up sharply from there - depending on quality, franchise and of course scale.

Which will make it over 300$ australian same thing happened with heavensward... can i afford paying over 300$ for a game?? Yes i can but no way im going to lol digital ce for me again xD

Wish they had a 3rd option like a physical CE without the statue but the other stuff and charge like $80 for it, I would buy that but not really interested in a $100+ statue.

I'm actually way more interested in the girl more so than just another Garlean. We've had plenty of those already.

And its also the enigma behind who she is, and that she's more than likely an integral part of the story, and possibly someone we already know and love.

I would happily pay for a statue of her as well.

It's a shame about the artbook, which is really the only thing I wanted from that CE, but at this price it can't be helped.

Digital Ce should be the "Nessie"-like mount, the rapier for RDM, and two pets, Redmage and a guy on a chocobo.

What I said was in context of the price asked for that figure.
Let's count again how much it costs:
Heavensward = 40. Artbook = 20. Eorzea in motion Blueray = 5. Digital content = 20.
That's 85 bucks in content. If I take 5 bucks back for the box itself, there's 40 bucks left just for the Dragon Figure.
40 bucks for a figure of this quality is on the edge of being a rip-off. For this price, the figure should've been in resin, and not plastic. But, it was still okay. Okay.

Regarding Stormblood, you can almost make the same calculation... which will leave you at ~100 bucks for the figure alone if you value a sticker and a cloth map quite high...
When you come to that pricing, you should expect something coming close to the Odin figure. Just note that the Odin figure is 290mm (11.42") tall while Zenos yae Galvus is 180mm(7.09"), so the 35 bucks in different is already justified. Odin's stand is also way better.

So, yeah, that Zenos yae Galvus figure must be of the best quality SE is able to sell. If it's not and the quality is near the Heavensward's one, then it's a complete rip-off.

If you bought the game on steam and that's what you're using, that is your pc account (forever with steam). Even if you were to purchase all 3 as non-steam versions it would be creating an entirely new account.

Stormblood itself includes Heavensward for anyone who doesn't have it yet, so you wouldn't need a separate HW purchase except to play it in the meantime before SB comes out. Once it comes out, you'd need ARR + SB for each platform you play on.

If you have both PS4 & PC, you'd need the expansion for both of them, but only one of those would need to be Collector's Edition in order to get the CE bonuses. So, just like with HW before it, the expansion itself is per-platform type, but the bonuses are account wide.

Same; I liked my HW artbook the most out of the entire collector's edition bundle, but would not be willing to pay $200 pretty much just for that. I had high hopes for the dragon statue, but felt it was cheaply made and mine still doesn't sit properly on the stand, so not chancing it with a statue of some Garlean dude I don't even GAF about.
