If people want to pay for not region locked content there should be no issue, the work has already been done. They will wait for it if they want it, and just because they want it doesn't mean they want it free. Try to relax man lol

Because developer/region "entitlement". Restrictions apply elsewhere other than the NA/EU area.

I don't think people understand the CN/KR/JP servers are not managed by SE themselves. Each to their own opinion, I suppose.

Even if we did get it I can bet most people will just use it a few times then never again. Just like the Korean/Chinese outfits (Guess people couldn't be special snowflakes after noticing everyone else around them wearing it so it lost its appeal Kappa :P). So many people asked for it and I rarely see anyone wear it. So the question is do you REALLY want it or do you want it just because someone else has it? So far it just seems like people just want it because someone else has it. Just from what I have seen.. I could be wrong but personally I don't think I am.

Promotions are regional, like holidays. Feedback from here lets SE know what promotional items they should bring over, if at all.

JP servers are part of our global servers (NA/EU/JP) and managed directly by SE.
If you mean the maid costumes before the event also started in NA and EU, they were account region locked, not JP datacentre locked. Japanese players were still able to wear the maid costume on a NA server to annoy the NA players out of fun.

That would be in line with, uh...just about anything in this game (and many things outside of the game). Fashion in particular is awkward - one day, tight trousers are in, the next baggy jeans are the flavor of the month. One day things are to be rustic, then sophisticated. And the wardrobe is brimming over!
And if you wear the old stuff just long enough, one or two decades later you're suddenly a trendsetter.

The quality of movement is really good.

But i'm not going to beg for it like y'all did for the outfits.

No I'm at JP server with NA account. JP server is same with NA and EU, also I got maid and butler from NA campaign not JP.

There's three regions to consider; Japan, Europe and North America. Considering we get events like Yokai Watch, Garo, Super Sentai (Power Rangers for NA plebs :V) and probably something that spawned the butler and maid outfit promotions (leaning heavily toward inspiration from something like Black Butler), I somehow don't think they are as unpopular as we're being led to believe.

No, you're right, Bennu's are a good example of this. They're not region exclusive but do I see people using them like they did on day 1? nope, cause it's not "in" anymore.
I still get my bennu out to fly quite often but it was given to me as a gift so that's probably the main reason.

If we are only allowed to get things that stay "in" forever than we would never get new items. Why does someone even truly care how long a person wears something or use it? Even if the player only uses it for two weeks its still two weeks of enjoying the glamour/pet/mount. If we take this argument and look at the whole game, SE would never need to make new mounts or new glamour. Heck even the dungeon gear should always look similar since people only use it for a short amount of time. No need to make it look good right? Since it will be "out" soon enough.

I bought both Bennu and Sleipnir and I still use both of them. But since I have a lot of good looking mounts I will summon them with the roulette thus making it completely luck based what mount I will get (the same with the pets). This could mean that I wont see the Bennu mount for quite some time and sometimes I will have it out three times in a row. Yet every time I see it I find it still nice looking and enjoy the music and I am glad to have it. I also own the butler set and my healer has it still as a glamour but since I am a DD main you will rarely see it on me. This does not change the fact that I am quite happy with it and absolutely love it on my healer. But we have lots of good glamour and it would be shame to always just wear the same gear.

With more variety you will always have less "time" for each single item or emote but that does not mean that as a consequence we should get less of them. Its every persons choice to use it or not and if someone will only use it for two days than its their decision. So people will have fun with it and the devs will earn more money or make a lot of people happy. Win Win in my opinion. I mean its already said that these things are created by the FF14 team and they are digital goods which means it only costs them once.

And I disagree with Remus. We had enough other threads (for example the angel/demon one) where people did not want the exclusive item because they thought it was ugly. If your statement would be true the majority of people would have been for it just because they cant have it and yet this was not the case.

In my opinion if someone wants something completely exclusive than they should just take a look at real life. Maybe buy the limited collectors edition or something like that. But please leave this exclusivity out of this game. It will only bring frustration to the players since we are all paying customers and imo being some patches behind really is no reason to get so many things..I am okay with paying for it if the original version also had to pay for it. But I do really start to get annoyed by the team..it was no problem to somehow release the butler outfits (and a extra butler one for the chocobo too..) in the Asian mog station version..and yet it was a complete mess in the EU version..and we have to beg them for the Asian items all the time..but hey everyone that is still waiting for the bunny male version...look how fast the devs are able create outfits, mounts and emotes for the Asian players..[with Asian I dont mean the Japanese players, just did not feel like writing out the other Asian versions] Makes one feel loved. I am kinda at a point where I start to regret buying the fanfest ticket for Germany..I feel like the greed really gets a little out of hand.

Not sure how you got this out of my post. Especially since the post about the mounts was only one small part of it.
I will give a short summary of my post ;): Everything will get "outdated" over time, so if we say that we should not get new things because of that, than this means SE should never put any work into ingame items again, since we will often stop using them after a while.

Genuinely curious. Why would you accept and/or use items from the cash shop if you are against the cash shop? Was it just because you didn't want to hurt the feelings of the person who gave them as gifts? Or some other reason? Maybe you aren't against the cash shop you just don't like it when people ask for things to go into it too often?

The Moogle one, at least and the one with the gentle detective are pretty "japanese" mood and done for lalafells, in my opinion tho. I understand that poeple can like them and it's fine. I just don't. ^^'

But this is not the point. I just actually like to see this china-exclusive-dance on our game too. We don't have lots of tribal dances like that, unfortunately. I'd like to see more battle dances like that.

They dont look like J-POP to me, but I do agree with you that I want to see this dance added to our version aswell, preferably as a quest reward.

the dance is actually very nice. if we let our voices heard like on the other threads about regional exclusives, then there's a big chance they'll add this one too!

and yes please let it be an event quest reward (say... chinese new year?) or something from the achievement system that's reasonably attainable

The truth seems to me unfair this, China and Korea continue to put exclusive things, while we have nothing exclusive (since our so-called "exclusive" only last a little time, to be post on these servers a little later)
It would not matter if we got things a little later, but to get the first things exclusive we had to wait a year!

Neither is it necessary to make events for each thing, they could simply be obtained through achievements or even be able to exchange with MGP or craft!
