I've never met my doppelganger. In fact, I'm sure I've never seen a duskwight with my skin colour before.

Well I've met a few characters that looked similar but not "exactly" the same which is funny when people say someone looks like me but then I'm like: the eyeshape is different, the eyebrows are different, the mouth/jaw is different too whuut that's not me at all! /sadface
I've come across some mild clones but nothing too extreme. That said, just the other day I spotted a person(whom I caught targetting me the other day) that had cloned my set entirely ; Granted they had a couple of the pieces already, it was frustrating to see that they had very obviously checked out my character for a period of time only to have the exact same set a number of days later, haha.
I also came across people with similar names like "Q'nahli" and a couple of others which I found odd since "K'nahli" was completely made up on my part.
I don't think I've ever ran into my doppelganger. Than again, Au Ra seems pretty rare on my server. I see more Roes and Hyurs than anything. I think I've ran into two Au Ra since HW dropped?

I'm addicted to the character creator, have made many alts (that I frequently delete to free up the names) just to play with the creations, and have Fantasia'd more times that I can count.
A few of those were due to me running into a doppelganger, and while some people find it funny or flattering, I hate it! It just doesn't feel like my avatar is totally my own if I'm playing with someone so similar, even if by total chance.
i've seen highlanders with same face/beard, but not hair/gear.
I once met someone with the same first name as me in a dungeon once. We found it odd that our last names had the same amount of letters in them 0.o and then, if that wasn't good enough, I recently met someone in another dungeon who was friends with that same guy! Lol asked me "hey, have you met so-and-so before?" I said " yes I have!" Eorzea is a small place even across servers lol
I've never met anyone that even approaches what my elfeh looks like at any given time.
Have not met a player or NPC that looked like my male Elezen. But, for my female Miqo'te I have seen quite a few that looked like her. One looked exactly the same and the other just had different hair color.
So this happened when I was a Hyur. Basically, you know that guy at the Gold Saucer who gives out the MGP if you have none, the red headed guy. Well at the time, ironically, I looked just like him, face was a bit different, but it was enough to make another play stop look at both of us and do the hardcore laugh emote. So yeah when I was a Hyur I had a doppelganger, but as a Lala I have yet to meet one, so yay I is unique and special, XD.
Seen a lot of my twins around. I met this person early on in HW. We joked about how we could be sisters.

We even had the same tail, in a world of Au Ras who mostly have a spiky tail.

Back in 2.0 my character (Rhoden) had white, lanky hair. My main was SCH, one day I decided to go ahead and do the SMN quests and my mind was blown. I thought it was so cool that the SMN quests had you fight your doppleganger. I assumed that's how it was for everyone until I finally asked a friend. Turned out, nope, Tristen just happened to look like a red eyed version of my character! I was fighting my look alike before dark knight was cool. :P
I love being a dark skin kitty. Like a blue/black tone. I had it for a long while and one day everyone in my server decided to look similar to me. Back to elezen I go.
I feel like the hair that I use is very rarely used and I have only seen a couple of others use it across any server/forums I have been on, and even then their model looks completely different
I actually did recently!
I am a fantasia addict so the day before I had changed to a female Au Ra for giggles. The next day my gf tells me she saw someone with the same first name as me! So I hurried to see, since Valenth isn't exactly common, only to find an Au Ra lady who had the same haircolour and eye colour as me, as well as the same first name!
Yeah, that was... perplexing, surprising. Especially since I've been using the name and general look of my character colourwise for like 7'ish years now. xD

Back when Rhu was still a leaf I saw a mew'qote with the same hair, similar face, and tail as her. Except she was all black (skin, hair, tail, etc)
(On that note, I have seen a few characters with similar odd eyecolors~)
But that was a year ago and I've changed her appearance time to time xD (black and peach highlights ftw!)

The closest thing to a doppelganger was from the 'Show your roegadyn' -thread. They had the same face and nose option and white skin. Hairstyle&colour, eyes, lips etc., were completely different.

I always see a guy in Ul'dah that has the same exact face settings as mine but he has tad lighter skin, blond, different hairstyle and has light blue eyes. Although that's the closest I can get for a twin honestly?
Then again Midlanders are infamous for being 'generic' so I'd look like most derplanders, at least for people who don't bother comparing facial features.
I haven't met my dopplegager exactly but I have the most common female Au Ra face and tail and a popular hair Au Ra hairstyle so I run into a lot of palette-swapped "siblings".
I haven't seen a character who looks exactly like mine, but I have seen a character who's name is the same as mine IRL. The only difference was one letter, which would make it pronounced the same regardless. Kinda creepy :P
For this look? Not yet. I have a female elezen and a male hyur appearance saved that I haven't come across yet either. In the past though? Loads of times.

Haven't found any other white-haired highlanders that lost their eye to T13 progression.
However, I do believe female Lala's are an Allagan cloning project that they lost control of. I see long blonde hair and blue-eyed potato's with the same voice in every corner of the world I travel.

Nope...I'm surprised cuz when I made my character i just copied my own appearance lol typical tan, blonde, California type look haha but i haven't seen any lookalikes at all...
