Identifying the Dead (Part 2)

This thread had me digging through the lore forums for part 1. After 11 pages of digging (to the point where I was at pre-Palace threads), I couldn't find it. So uh... could a link be provided? I was mildly curious when these NPCs showed up alone in the first 50 floors, but I didn't realize these were ACTUAL named NPCs at one point, so now I'm REALLY interested.

The fault probably lies in the naming conventions.
I named this search in progress thread after the finished article from the last time we went on the hunt.

Why would he be? He already appeared at the end of 3.3 with Yasayle and they both seemed happy/satisfied. Everyone we met in the dungeon had some form of regret.

Not sure it's regret. The Black Marketeer jumps to mind as someone who didn't really who died with "unfinished business" but rather just a very violent manner. I may be misremembering the ROG questline though.

I meant to say people who probably didn't want to die or weren't stable (mentally) linger in the palace. Haurechfant and Ysayle seemed to have made peace with their deaths knowing they helped the Warrior of Light.

So, people who simply weren't ready to die, whether that be a sudden death or leaving with regrets are the kind that can be summoned.

Seems like it. Nybeth kept trying to use Edda's soul, but she refused to come back to the living because she wanted to stay gone.

Gangrenous Giant is possibly a corpse of Ouranos (Copperbell Mines HM boss), not Gyges', at least he looks more like him, still with one eye but with rotting face. Was chilling on Floor 122 when I've decided to slaughter him... again.
