They invalidated the horde weapons from the start of 3.3 with the reconditioned anima. It's going to be 260 or 265. 3.55 will be the victory lap to 275 to match the Alexandrian Weapons, just like Zodiac Zeta in 2.55.

BUT it lasted for a very long time. i have not played 11 in years but i am fairly sure they are still the best weapons baring whatever upgrades since 2012 and was not beatable by anything bought or dropped. that IS how i think relics should be (not the gill sink part) but here, they die out with the content in time. and they can't be stronger then raid weapons or raiders would cry rivers of tears.Quote:

Relic will always be one step behind the highest raid weapon of the tier until the end of the tier (where the relic will be on par).
As people have mentioned before, it's harder to get raid weapons than do the relic. I do wish they started relic on start of a new tier so that there are more options and ilevels to work through. -

Just to give the timeline, next anima step likely plays out the same as Midas did. Plus why 260 makes sense.
From week 1:
-i255 Sophia Extreme
-i260 A10S Micro tome drop + 1000 Scripture. Realistically the earliest they could be bought was first day of week 3.
-i270 A11S Gobdip upgrade drop
-i275 A12S drop
From week 6:
-i255 new PoTD. Another option for those that did not get a weapon from Sophia Extreme.
-i260 Anima. Those current with 240 step will get an opportunity to get an upgrade before those that don't have a current anima.
From week 7:
-i260 Free Alexander Micro-tome after 7 weeks of A12N + 1000 scripture, for those that don't raid Alex Savage or have an anima. -
