Another possibility is turning darkside off after each pull and turning it back on. I always do this for mp management, darkside is always on with every ecnounter but i turn it off right after before the next pull or boss to fill mp back up faster. I got into a habit of doing that so i never forget to have it on/off. But having it off all the time till boss....yeah that's just lazy drk.
