Happysparkle sounds like a goblin word. Maybe their version of tactical nuke.

So basically instead of swimming in the ocean and boats, we will be swimming in blood?
I could get down with this.
Sounds like a Raging Storm is churning a Sea of Blood.
SE take all my money.
Yeah, "Heavensward" sounds like a title full of imagination, which attracts you to think about something gorgeous.
In contrast, “Storm Blood" seems er, more straightforward to violence but less connection to what a story it wants to tell.
Anyway, it may be my own bias that "blood" is a word relates more to PVP rather than PVE.
We are going to WAR!!!!
I still think it's a bit too edgelordy for my taste.
But "A Realm Reborn," "Heavensward," and "Stormblood" are better than the unintentional word salads of XI's expansion's titles.
Skulls for the skull throne where?
But in all seriousness, the name seems apparent to me that we will be sailing the ocean breaze and/or cleaning up another of Limsa Lominsa's "necessities". I'm intrigued however, considering the Ala Mhigo focus on what is left of 3.xx. We'll see in a few weeks in Vegas.
Are we sure this isn't that rpg in development right before Tanaka departed? It sounds dark.

I like it, but mostly because I'm associating "blood" to lineage instead of bloodshed. The word blood itself tends to cause some controversy and leads to a more dark and edgy approach but I think it's mostly a cultural thing, since I don't think the name "STORMBLOOD" causes the same impact on the eastern players.
Plus there's the whole 'true meaning' thing. In the beginning Heavensward was a meaningless name just for the shivers until we got to see the story to why Heavensward is named Heavensward. On a heavy-story-based game such as XIV, I'm pretty sure that even the title STORMBLOOD has potential to grow on people if there's an in-dept meaning to it; and knowing this game it's pretty sure it'll have.
I still think the whole "blood" thing centers towards a lineage instead of a massive bloodshed, anyways.
