Knowing SE you're probably correct.

Just give an option to iLevel synch when you request the duel if people are gonna be mad they can't use their PvE gear lol.

I'd just make the whole zone have item level sync, and then if two people agree they can sync themselves. People can both sync, people can both unsync, you can train on dummies, you can sync and let someone else not sync to test your healing against a super strong burst, etc... It's a win-win for everyone. If you want to sync and the other guy doesn't, find someone else to duel.

Too hard. Took them a while xpac to make range distance affect dummies. :^)

If it is too hard they can literally just make the whole zone a fate.

I wish wolves den was already item synched. It would make it easier to test gear on dummies. Pls item synch wolves den ASAP = )

Signed. The fact that they even considered taking off the ilvl sync for dueling speaks volumes to how they are treating PVP. It really just makes no sense. Hopefully they see this feedback in time for the patch, and it launches with a sync, since most PVPers have gear varying in ilvl to meet BiS PVP stats.

We don't need sync PvP is suppose to be a test of skills. Either accept the fight knowing you're out geared or not. PvP has no progression it's just a free meal for tomes and that's true fact don't deny it. Theres also no competitions at all either.

I dont' understand if you are just trolling the pvp comunity looking at you last comments, anyway, it is not just a tome farm, if you do it for that purpose you are wasting your time cause of the long queue or you are just cheating with naked parties on 4vs4 preformed.
I do The Feast and Frontlines just for fun, because I like it as content and I'm not the only one.

Anyway a lot of people are asking for a sync because actually it will be a good and realiable way to test your skill before entering a match, and remember that actually it is resctricted to the Wolves Den area.
I would like to have BOTH options, and honestly I hoped that the Duels would have implemented as the Triple triad, not just in 1 area, in that case I can really figure out that they didn't implement the sync, because people will randomly spar each other while waiting for a que, just for fun.

I don't mind the option to let the other person know you're going to sync the gear. This way they know what's up before accepting the invitation for an ass whooping. And no I don't troll I love PvP it's just this game is too soft to really get anything going for the community. PvP needs progression and removing ilvl sync will be a great start. That's my opinion I'm not speaking for others.

Sorry dude, you just sound like a troll. Go back to wow if you are so in love with the pvp system there; syncing ilvls is part of what makes FFXIV different than those other games.

More skill less focus on grinding gear.

The Grinding mechanics of a lot of MMO is mostly something to make you renew your subscription and it's usually more annoying that funny.
Some people like it, and I have no problem with this but..

Actually in this pvp your skill count more than how many time you spent on this just spamming a content for your relic @.@
If you are talking about getting different set of weapon/armor that doesn't give you any higher stat but some customizable ones, I can agree,
