Bards are that bad? Then what is all the complaints about bards easy burst and should be nerf?

I honestly feel like all of the ranged dps are the same. It sort of depends on party composition for their burst, though. I win more matches playing DRG when I have a BRD or a MCH, but that's probably because I disembowel for their burst and for mine whereas I can't really set up for a SMN's burst.

I feel like SMN and BLM don't /need/ me to set up for them, but most SMNs I've played with sort of require me to do the bursting while they apply the pressure. BLM on the other hand is the long ranged artillery and will guarantee any kills you don't burst down on your own.

MCH and BRD can do what they want, MCH usually kills anyone in one rotation whereas BRD seems to just be great a finishing people off.

I think those complains are more "they only have to hit 4 buttons every 90s to be good", whereas mch has way more burst potenial, but take way more skill to play... I think?

To add to this BRD has to mainly worry about bursting people. A good mch has to do this as well as peel for their healers and dps via cc since they have a vast range of it. It is difficult to play but very awarding if you can make full use of the job.

Not only that but all classes are in a playable state at our current situation on Feast, of course some are better. I think the only Job that can be good on bad hands is MCH because of how Hypercharge works.
