They didn't really do anything on the one before that, though.
That was just a one time event, and I'm sorry you're frustrated they cannot outdo what such an incredible event that the second year was.

Take solace in having been there for that event. Not everyone playing was there, they didn't get the thanks you did - even if all you're doing with it is asking for more instead of being satiated like the rest of us.

Yes you're totally right. I paid $60 like everyone. I preordered the game. I've paid the $15 a month now for 2 years, and bought a ton from the Mog station. how dare I expect them to give us more at the 3 year anniversary. like really? Stop being a fan boy/girl for a sec, and be honest, this year was a let down, and a complete lack of effort on SE's part. I'm not cool with how much I personally put into this game, and got such a bad event, after a year of bad events. You guys/gals should expect more, but instead you're on here trying to make it seem like I'm wrong for being let down. Oh well.

Are you even looking at what you're saying? You're doing exactly what you're complaining about others doing to you. You are not wrong for being let down, BUT that does not mean that others have to agree with your disapointment. People have the exact same right to be happy with the event as you have to be unhappy with it, so cut the hypocrisy.

Unironically yes.

Now having done the event, I thought it was cute. Did it measure up to last years? Not really, but to be honest, events in game don't have to be on that level every year. My only gripe is that the rewards were a little sub-par. The only thing that was neat was the indoor house banner, the outside pillar made me laugh.

I don't even read the events anymore, they are so fluffy. Last years was amazing but that was a rare gem. You cannot expect much out of this game anymore. Plus that whole Nokia watch and Power Rangers thing were a major turn off for me, at least this one was actually about Eorzea and involved 0 fates for once. Just take what you can get a be happy about it.

If you want to let them know your disappointment, do what I did, don't give them anything extra. I don't shop mogstation and even cancelled my alt accounts. Money talks and so does the lack there of. I would much rather give my money E to other companies who produce S a better game and are more reliable O and communicative with their players.

Ty for this great comment! love the (ESO thing ya did there) i'm spending most of my time there as well. Hopefully SE takes notice, and gets back to making quality content again.
