New Trees

Seems like the fallen leafs will be a separated furniture from the tree. Rip slots...

The new trees don't have a recipe so I wonder where they're acquired from.

Yeah I noticed that too.
Seeing as their names are based on the Japanese maple and gingko, I assume for now that they can be bought at the Doman guy in Revenant's Toll that also sells sliding doors and Doman partitions :)

IF this ends up being the only way to obtain them then I am definitely not impressed with se , yet another rng + mb rip off was added instead of a way for most to simply enjoy, worsened with the cherry tree requests being ignored for years now.

I'm...ok with that actually. This will keep them from overwhelming the wards all at once and make those that want them have to earn them, even if it is going to require a bit of luck. I'll put it out there that I have terrible RNG. I've wanted that song that you get for getting to the last room for ages now, but I'm not going to buy it. One day I will get there and the feeling is going to be great! Same goes for the trees.

Made worse by the fact I don't give a toss about how popular they are, so if that's really why it's in the rng heap then I simply laugh at the intention. If it was up to me (being the developer) this terrible "see your neighbours and live it out like a real housing estate" thing wouldn't have been conceived and instead each garden and house would be in a nice pretty little instanced section - best part of this would of course be not having to put up with seeing them gaudy Moogle homes, yuck - but, we have this crippling system so I guess I'd just make new houses like above, of course, the current housing wards would stay and those wanting that can fight with all the others for that wonderful neighbourly ward.

(yes, I'm full of salt yet again; you know, making multi-tiered rng grinds isn't the only way to implement the acquisition of items, developers... and yes, I've almost had it with this housing system and am always in utter disbelief of their continued "handling" of it)

That's fine AstralKaos. Everyone has their own opinion. The systems as they are work for some of us but not all. Only thing I can do is wish you luck with obtaining one. I still chase RNG and for some sick reason like it.

Likewise, good luck. May it not be any more tedious than it need be.

I'm actually fine with moderate use of rng, like gear, etc etc, but this game is getting a bit too reliant on it (even for the genre) and to be putting a set of simple trees in a multi-tiered rng grind is a bit absurd. Glowing golden trees with particle effects and rainbows on them, sure, but generic trees that this games gardens desperately need...

I probably laughed a little too hard at this because I can see it happening, but only from RNG on King Moogle and only being able to be placed if you currently have the Moogle house wall. Just to make you saltier! (please see the humor in that and don't take and unintended offence)

I cannot support the choco house. Although my FC house is the Moogle one, my main is the Weaponry and my alt is the Eatery. The character ones are gaudy, I'll agree with you there. We might craft and sell a choco one just because we like crafting those.

It's kinda shitty for people who were hoping to farm it for themselves, It would involve an incredible amount of luck. That being said, since its not a limited supply like the cherry trees are, the prices will probably be lower then those in about a month or two, it really just depends on demand.

Really made me laugh :)

So..dropped one today in aquapolis...wasn't aware just HOW rare they are and told everyone it was okay to need since I didn't want to seem stingy. Ofc, lost the roll.
Got out, saw they are 25 million on the MB right now (and even actually selling for that price!). Threw my PC out the window to punish this stupid lady.
Now commenting from my phone.

(Okay, the second half was made up, I didn't throw my PC out, but I at least did silently ragequit the game xD)

They're brand new and there's a lot of content people are spread out between at the moment so I don't think as many people are doing maps at this time. Give it some time and you should see the price drop significantly.
